Recover & Re-Insert Images

Hello all, 

 

So it seems that it is possible to retrieve broken images within some threads/posts. It seems that in some cases that while the inserted image may be broken, the actual uploaded attachment is all well and fine. If you have a missing image, try these steps. 

 

1. Enter Edit mode on your post/topic.

2. When in Edit mode, do nothing other than click "Save". 

3. Go back into edit mode. 

 

You may now find that the attachments originally belonging to the post/topic may re-appear in the attachment area. This will allow you to simply re-insert the images.  

 

This may not work in all instances but myself and others have found this method works, so why not give it a shot
