Isn't that the point of Beta? To work out the kinks?

Now this is interesting reading!

EDIT*

For some reason, I thought there was some magic in Win11 that banned cheaters.  Boy am I out of it.

lol, No, that's the gaming companies running software to detect cheats already if you wanna play the game. Kinda like Sony with the DRM software..... 😉

PUBG uses ring 0 anti-cheat, I suspect that's why it bans people running on an unsupported OS. I would assume the other games also use ring 0.

As for windows 11 itself, I don't see any reason to be excited about it. Usually a new version of windows has more to differentiate itself from the last version but win11 just seems like it's intended to run better on ARM, which is just not something I really care about...

Unless they release windows 11 on phones. They haven't talked about this yet to my knowledge, but that seems like the route they should want to go in especially if it can really run android apps successfully.

Also BattlEye, Microsoft seems to have had a problem updating some insiders builds that were running with it installed according to this article.

If you love playing online games like Call of Duty, you might want to wait until the official version of Windows 11 is out to upgrade.
