Prepare for some lower PPD than usual. p18202 is pretty much gone, and there is some really tough work, but it's all for the good. I have those! 2x 1070, 2x 1080ti, and 3x 3080ti. Which models are yours? My 1070's are the MSI SeaHawk EKWB Editions, 1080tis are EVGA FTW3 Ultra Hydrocopper, and the 3080tis are FTW3 Ultra Hydrocopper, a blower FTW3, and a Hybrid XC3 model.

 

Are those all in separate PCs? That's a nice arsenal!

 

So seriously everyone. I had more fun losing to @Bastiaan_NLlast month than I did winning this month over on OCN this month. I led a TC Category for 1 month once. 

 

Anyway, It's really great that all of us here still chat even as we get older. It's also been a long journey for many of us to maintain dedication of any kind to this sort of thing. I just want you all to know that I'm very thankful for your time. I appreciate everyone helping each other on these forums, ocn, wherever with folding etc. I've made some great friends from this over the years. Some of us go away from it, or just lurk, but It's such a blessing. I'm hoping you all can now take the time to complete the Extreme Team Folding Sign Up Sheets now. There's some great sponsors for August.  Oh you knew it was coming! 

 

If you can fold 1 GPU or CPU next month in ETF, it's cool enough for you to do so, you want to, but have an issue with something. PM me. I may be able to help. I'd fully setup anything needed to make it happen. Thanks guys! 6 hours till go time.

Sadly more than a few days during the summer really jacks up my electric bill so I have to pass on this one. Winter should be a different story when I can use the heat.

I hope we will pick up a few good units, otherwise it'll be hard to beat the other FaT total.

 

An easy win is never that much fun, I had the most fun with all the FaT's battling with @jpmboy, @Avacado and the last one with you. (and maybe some others I forgot to mention)
Trash talking and bluffing that I had more hardware optional where I was just overclocking and cooling the .... out of everything

 

It is great to have a few of the old guys back, and new ones to share the forums with. I was away for a few years but I do have some regrets leaving around 2011. It seems like you guys had a great time after that with folding@home

I'm on my third round of folding 24/7, stopping for a few years and folding again.  My first time with dedicated hardware I put up 1000 work units for a hair over 1 million points!  Top that!

My first and previous round of 24/7 was about 2 years long, 8500 units for 16 million points iirc. I had 3 GTS450's, 2 GTX460's and a GTX480 at that time, each system had a different i7 in it just for fun. The main was a 920, I had so much fun overclocking and benchmarking with that thing!

Sounds like I started a few years prior.  I don't think GPU folding was a thing then.  I think I was folding on Core 2 Duo era hardware.  Perhaps before that?

C2D was a few years before I started, which was 2009. So that sounds about right.
The reason for the i7's was the bigadv units, that was a lot of fun and stress sometimes to finish the unit in time!

I fired up all the hardware, and there is a 10 million ppd (negative) difference between yesterday and today thanks to the great units we've been given.

It must be cold in Russia this time of year.  I rented a 4x3090 system in Russia and the GPUs have stayed about 55C the whole time!

Sorry BWG, I’ve been crazy busy this week. My 3080ti is MSI and all the rest are EVGA. 3 rigs with 3 available GPU slots (Maybe) but these new cards would need to be water cooled as the air cooled ones don’t leave enough space to breathe. 
 

Yeah my folding numbers are down for sure!
