RX 6600 XT is the most efficient mining card available today

Following its release, the 6600 XT was completely sold out by resellers in minutes, and the suggested retail price has never been held for more than ten minutes at a time.

In the Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm, the card would be able to generate 32 mega hashes per second. The remarkable thing about this is that it is accomplished with an average power consumption of only 55 watts on average. Previously, an ultra-tuned GTX 1660 Ti with 28MH/s performance at 80W was the closest competitor in terms of low-wattage performance. In terms of efficiency, the 6600 XT is by far the most efficient card on the list, with a bit more than 0.58 megahash per watt. The power limits of the other models appear to have been adjusted as well.

Previously, the Radeon VII was the most expensive card on the list, costing more than USD 700. The 6600 XT has higher performance per watt and a significantly lower MSRP of $380, making it a more affordable option. Of course, it is debatable whether the card will be available for purchase at this price as well. According to one hypothesis, this is due to the 128-bit memory bus, which consumes less power than the larger buses used by all of the other cards in the table. For miners, this is welcome news; however, for gamers, it means that this video card will most likely be hard to come by and will be sold at exorbitant prices.

An otherwise uninteresting card will now probably be one of the most overpriced.
