Good man. You are the first person I think to make use of the embed. Glad to see it works after my testing. Nothing worse when something works for you, then you release it and everyone else tells you its borked haha.

I'm glad it works too, first try and the video you posted made it easy!
This looks a lot better than all those 'spoilers' 😄

Ha, if you are really smart you could put the embed IN the spoiler 😛

Not a single card I entered the queue for came up so meh.

I think the last EVGA card I personally used was a GTX 670 with the most recent one bought being a GTX 1660 for someone else's machine.

Overall, always been happy with them. That said, thee GTX 970 EVGA card we had, bit the dust. Only card failure this household has had in the last 14 years.

From the 6 EVGA cards I have now only one was bought from EVGA after receiving a notification from the queue. I still have 2 cards in the queue, but I don't expect to receive a notification and I don't think I'll buy them either.

I got the RMA for my first 3090 sorted, waiting on the confirmation email before sending it to whatever location they want me to send it.
The card wasn't playing nice for a few months, high powerdraw through the PCIe slot was one of the first things I noticed with this card. For the past few months it was also unable to draw more than ~400 watt, even with the XOC bios etc.
Finally it started to crash with mild oc's, backed those oc's down even more but it was still showing artifacts and crashed a few times. Second one is still folding great, but I have no idea if that one will show the same problems if I use it in the main system.
Anyways, EVGA updated the components on the cards they send out after RMA. I hope I'll get the right one..

It's been a minute. Re-acquired a 750Ti FTW, model unknown as it has been peeled off the back of the card and there was no box. Bought 01/19/22.

Well, I didn't list the Classifieds or the Kingpins, even though they should count here 😛

They deserve their own special place, adding them here would make the name so complicated.

Finally got a chance to order (and on the way) a EVGA 3080 Ti 12G-P5-3955-KR!!!  Built an entirely new machine and finally get the new card.  Been running a liquid cooled 1070 for awhile now.  Solid card, but considering the system, it's finally good to upgrade.  Card should be here wednesday!  Means having to drain/possibly re-pipe some of the system, but it'll be worth it.

Couple questions...anybody have this card...any quirks I should know about?  I've considered running it air cooled, but wasn't sure what numbers anybody was seeing.  Liquid I'm getting 30c off the 1070.  I know this will run hotter, but no idea by how much.

Not the same card, but I have two air cooled 3080TI FTW3 cards (12G-P5-3967-KR).  While folding, I'm seeing temps of 60-65C with 75F ambient.  I also have a hydro copper (12G-P5-3969-KR) that is currently 47C in that same system (75F ambient) while folding.  All three of these are in an open frame case with a lot of airflow.

Close enough when it comes to GPU's.  I'll have a good idea what to look for now when it comes to temps.  Think yours may run a few degrees hotter, but not by much.  I have a hydro for the gpu and that'll help quite a bit.  My system runs pretty cold even under load (division 2, assassin's creed), so rendering worlds doesn't seem to really heat the coolant up too much and the 1070 levels out a lot while under load.  Will have to see how this new card will do, since it's quite a bit more than the 1070.  Especially while running 3 monitors, all different sizes.

D*mmit!  Waterblock doesn't quite fit.  Pre-ordered one from EK before the cards dropped, thinking I was being smart getting ahead of the game.  Guy told me that the block would fit the model of card.  Close...but one mounting point is just 1/8" off.  Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but it's the point where it holds the mounting bracket and there isn't enough room to screw the nut on.  So if anybody reads this and they want the water block...can have it d*mn cheap.  EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090-Copper+Plexi.  Part number: 3831109832189

Look it up and if it fits, it's yours.  Last time the cards dropped there was a rush on waterblocks and it took me months to get one.  Pre-ordered the block AND the card, of course the card situation goes sideways.  So I've been holding onto this waterblock since 5-10-2020 waiting on my Q to come up and get the card initially signed up for.

Sucks to hear @Soulpatch, I guess there is some difference between the XC3 and the FTW3 afterall 😞

@firedfly Added 👍

There for sure is a visible difference between the XC3 and FTW3 PCB's. Even just with regards to hight and length of cards.
