There were so many entries under your power table that I could not 100% identify which was the PCI-e slot. I modified the TDP and power limits to 100000. There were 3 additional entries that were >66000 so I increased the maximum on those to 100000. The remaining entries that were <66000 I did not touch as they would unlikely be your PCI-e slot wattage.

Some of the voltage entries were 1.6mv, I capped all values at 1.281mv. The highest table entry your card had was 1228.0MHz. I changed your Boost frequency from a max of 1162.5MHz to 1228.0MHz. This means that the card can and should hit 1228.0MHz assuming it is lower than the 95c temp cap already assigned (You can set to whatever you are comfortable with) is getting the full 100w and caps at 1.281mv. If you can't hit 1228 or start getting instability, you can set a negative offset in Precision X1 or MSI afterburner for core frequency.

If these settings do not work it means one of two things.

1. The card can't be flashed or did not take the flash.

2. I did not successfully identify and modify the correct power table entry for your PCI-e wattage.

We can revisit 1&2 if it does not work. Please look over the vBIOS before flashing and make sure you are comfortable with it. 1.281mv,100w draw from PCI-e slot and a max temp of 95c are not things that are likely to give the card longevity.

Yeah so many entries! I'll be experimenting them all. Seriously I better be pushing at least 1400MHz and I'm hoping for closer to 1600MHz, under water ofc. I'm ok with pulling 100W on the PCIE slot. I've seen some cards exceed even that, pulling up to 120W during furmark runs. Not a big deal if it explodes while folding, as long as I get some HWBOT points first. I'm about to open up the BIOS you made and snoop around in there.

FAH uses p state 0 and i only tried bumping memory up +350 and it wasnt stable. cooling isnt the best but im willing to run the card at 90c as long as its stable and it has some kind of useful folding overclock on it

Alright, I'll look into it. P0 state is any state outside of the clock table. So for example if your last clock state was #75 at 1500MHz, if you added +50 to core in X1 or AB, it would put it outside of the clock table and into P0 territory.

I have not been folding as of late so things could have changed, but as I recall MEM OC does not help your PPD as much as CORE OC. I used to put a negative MEM offset on cards I would fold with just to devote 10-20 more w to core.

Yea, please let me know how it works out. These Maxwell Quadro's don't like running that high. The K quadro's were better in that regard. I would recommend putting that core on a cheap WB.

I own a few of these and they work well.

Try this.

Mods made:

TDP increase to 300w max

Power target 300w max

Voltage cap set to 1281.3mV

PCI-e Rails to 150w max

PCI-e slot increased to 75w max

Temp target changed from 79.53c to 85c

Max temp lowered from 91c to 90c

I would like to see the voltage and wattage your card will pull with the TDP/power target increased. I raised your default boost cap from 1266 to 1430.5 which is boost table entry #74. This means the card should boost to this ON IT's OWN if temps are below 90c and power is sufficient. When you flash this I want to know if you are able to hit 1430.5 on core without instability. We can modify your RAM outside of Mtweaker. vBIOS modding is 100% geared towards core and very limited on RAM OC. I could set a RAM target but if we set that wrong it will crash the card easily.

I have about 250 stock samples left then I can play around with the overclocking. I'm thinking around Monday or Tuesday it should be ready.

I need more details. What did the core max at (1316)? What voltage did it hit? What was the max wattage?

What was the max core you were able to reach before trying to vBIOS mod????

Give me a full GPUz sensor tab like the picture below with all the categories set to max.

to be honest, i didnt really try to pursue pushing this card any further when afterburner didnt work, so its a fresh slate when dealing with limits. thank you for the time you're putting in for me 🙂

Of course, this is what I love doing. Looks like you are getting the voltage (1.243) but not the wattage. Also your card capped at 1316 core. What OC did you get before? I can set the limit of your OC to 1316, but I don't want to gimp you if you were able to hit more. Will try to up your wattages and change your default boost max limit.

I took another stab at trying to increase wattage on your PCI-e rails. I set the default boost to 1300. I want you to flash this and monitor it. I want to see if it will hold 1300 and if the wattage will get higher than 175w. Are yyou able to add to core clock with afterburner? If so, you can increase it through AB if 1300 is stable. to expand GPUz log window, just drag the application window down until all the fields are revealed.

That is weird. You sure you have the file name right? Can use this version of NVflash.

This modified version of NVFlash lets you flash a modified BIOS to your NVIDIA graphics card.

Also use code nvflash --protectoff

1304 is table entry #64, thats what I set the default boost clock too. Show me MAX on the GPUz sensors tab when you can. From this point you can increase the core clock from afterburner to see if higher clocks are stable. I need to know if the card is pulling more wattage or not.
