Carnac the Magnificent - Wikipedia

Is it clairvoyance? Is it a super power? How is it that I know exactly what components will be listed for the build 90% of the time after reading nothing more than the thread title?

Play along with me, guess the cooling components being put in a cookie cutter build with the thread title "Corsair 1000D Quad Rad setup". Try it, you'll be amazed just how close you are to 100% correct.

Aaaannnddd... I just looked. 100% right.

Well %$#@, <wads up "shopping list" and throws it away> guess nobody else gets to play now 🤣

Edit:  After reading his list, I have a prediction regarding his flow rate.  I'm guessing 0.65 gallons per minute as he has it configured.

Per his projected build, we're talking $900+ in DRAM at current market conditions?

A tad less, but yea 900 fat ones. Just wait till he tries to run 64GB at XMP settings, boy will he be pissed when the fastest he can run them is 4000-4800. ADL does NOT play well with 4 sticks, even with the IMC now on the RAM itself. I know because I tried.

I agree with @Avacado.

To break it down, I am going to assume Corsair radiators, Corsair pump/res, Corsair blocks, and then probably EK fittings, Cry o' fuel, and ZMT.

If not that, then I'd guess EK blocks, Corsair rads and could go either way for tubing, pump, res.

All to say, some combo of Corsair and EK.

EDIT: I went ahead and looked. LOL.

At least they aren't using the Corsair pump/res. I die a little inside every time I see an XD5 in an otherwise nice build. I helped a friend of a friend do a "no expense spared" rig in a R̵e̵d̵b̵u̵l̵l̵ ̵r̵e̵f̵r̵i̵g̵e̵r̵a̵t̵o̵r̵ Thermalfake Tower 900 with dual XD5s. they are so cheap feeling. The whole thing is plastic.

I do own a lot of older EK stuff and used to think they were pretty good until I started buying Aquacomputer, Heatkiller, and Optimus gear.

Lol at Redbull Fridge.

I like my EK pump/res I have now, but if I look at getting a new unit in the future, will definitely be looking at an Aquacomputer.

Honestly though @ciarlatano, I don't know why you still browse OCN. It vexxes you so.

No, it's purely entertaining rather than vexing.  😉

Ok.....sometimes it's vexing...... Perhaps I was a monk in a former life, and OCN is my carryover of self-flagellation......
