Now, it seems likely Microsoft will announce the new app officially at its Build developer conference at the end of this month and move to replace Mail, Calendar, and eventually other versions of Outlook after that. As for how it performs? We’ll have to wait until we can get our hands on the new app to see, but it’s safe to say that desktop apps that act as shells for web apps have a bit of a spotty history. But with Microsoft’s long-standing push for Progressive Web Apps, it seems that the future is coming one way or another.

The web app is taking over Microsoft’s email clients.

 

Some change coming for outlook. Never really liked the app always had issue with sync for me. What you think of this new coming app?

Ill be happy if it runs better, outlook has always been too slow for me so usually use outlook.com I wonder if many other office apps will follow.

I started using Adobat Online for work pdf. I think they all are turning to online version. 

Probably a good idea because their software team can't optimise anything. My chromebook open page faster than my 12700k
