After the tech demo they released a while back, I don't think anyone is surprised their next game is another Arma game. Definitely interested to see how their new engine holds up.

Better be an improvement from last engine. Took years for singlethread performance to catch on with arma 3.

Altis life / Tanoa life server are dead now because of GTA V MP.

I am not an Arma player, but after watching the trailer and a gameplay video of this, I think the graphics are actually a little disappointing. The lighting looks like a pretty basic GI and the asset quality is kinda meh. Bohemian Interactive might have benefited from using some photogrammetry but it doesn't look like they did.

Arma was never really about graphic more about large open world. And not a cod or bf hitbox, point and shoot kind.  

 

Bullet deflection and penetration depending on caliber. Artillery / jet / helicopter / submarine.

 

In short this

 

 

 

 

I never enjoyed cod. And battlefield after the 2-3-4 i got bored. But arma i never get bored of it haha.

Well after trying it am pretty impressed with my 10 minute gameplay!

Night Gameplay is insane picked a guy and we both got lost in 2 minute  Not used to the new map.Flashlight work great.

 

Graphic are to me awesome i need to put more gametime but it really an Arma game and feel like one. 

New vehicle entry and exit is great and driving my G27 Wheel work with the pedal too!

 

Run smooth on my 12700k 6800xt but it crashed once for no reason and it do not run as smooth as it should, but it in development so it expected.
