Needing link for Tygon

I previously ordered some Tygon from US plastics, however the thickness of the tubing almost instantly kinks due to how thin it is. Can someone please link me Black Tygon that will fit 16/10mm soft tubing barbs with the thickest sidewalls? I spent 20 minutes browsing US plastics and I got all turned around. I think it equates to 3/8ID x 5/8OD (You know how imperial to metric never equals out right).

I ordered some vinyl that size from Amazon but I have not used it yet.

I also looked at US plastics but they ask a lot for shipping.

1/8" wall that's 0.125mm I think that is what I have already. I didn't know if there was thicker. I will run down to the dungeon and use my calipers on what I have.

Out of the 3 options they have for 3/8" ID tubing if just using barbs and not compressions, that seems to be the thickest wall.

Well it sucks compared to how mayhems bends then. In my experience soft tube compression fittings still use barbs, just not clamps.

I don't think that Tygon is 3/8" ID 5/8" OD. A 1/8 of an inch wall would equate to 3.175mm, closer to the Mayhems reading.

Interesting, you might be right.

Damn, good call. It's neoprene. So weird though. I know I bought it from US plastics awhile back and could have sworn it was Tygon. Never checked it until tonight... Derp.

If I had to guess, I'd guess what you have is the 3/8" ID 1/2" OD Tygon.

Edit: Ah, so its not Tygon either? Yeah. I think if you order the 3/8" ID 5/8" OD Tygon, you'll be much happier.

Cheers, glad I could help. I only use 3/8" ID 5/8" OD for my soft tubing these days precisely because its a thick wall.

What you have probably is some variation of Tygon if you bought it from US Plastics.

You just had some really thin wall stuff. Here's some pics of my  B I G  CHUNGUS 1/2x3/4" Tygon Norprene. It just says Norprene on the tubing itself, but it is Tygon A-60-G.

The name is similar but Norprene ≠ Neoprene.
