Welcome to the BeamMP mod for the game Beamng.drive!  If you'd like to play on the server, you'll need the installer found below.

Mods Pack Download:

You CAN get away with just connecting to the server and it'll automatically download the mods.  It's 3.25GB+ currently though, you'll have a faster time downloading the mods directly and placing them in the correct folder.

If you were on the original mod pack download, I have also zipped up just a simple update file for anything I've added since then.  Full mod pack download (above) is fully up to date with all mods.  If you're missing any, please see the update links below to catch up.

Note:  Put all of the zip files included into "C:\Users\(username)\Appdata\Roaming\BeamMP-Launcher\Resources"

 

Extract, install.  In order to play multiplayer, you really should launch the MP executable, it doesn't always pop up with multiplayer if you open the game through the original game's executable.  Click on multiplayer from the main menu once the game launches, and then search for the server above!  That's it!  You CAN register a username in game, it usually goes off discord if I'm not mistaken.  However you CAN also just skip the registration process and play as a guest.  Completely up to you.  You can add it to your favorites so you can always find it.  Clients do NOT need to worry about any additional mods (unless you want to play single player).  You will auto download the mods directly off the server.  I have added a download link (above) however, to make the process faster as the mods list is growing pretty rapidly.  

 

Beamng.drive is a sandbox style driving simulation game.  BeamMP is just a mod for it, the game is really based on the mods since its still in alpha stages.  The idea here is that we can organize literally whatever type of autosports events we want virtually!  We can go racing, we can just cruise city streets, drifting, 4x4'ing, mud bogging, even flying if we pop some airplanes into the server.  Whatever we want to do, that's what we can do.  I'd like to see perhaps weekly events if we can get more of the community to play it.

Please PM me if there's any issues, if you need a map change, or if there's mods you want to see put into it!  It's pretty easy to drop mods into the server, so I can make changes pretty quickly so long as I'm at home to do so.

Might use this post in the future for organized events maybe?  But otherwise, thread is now completed enough and open for discussion!

Anytime, its up and ready to go for events.   I personally am available to play on it at night, PST, but if we end up organizing a different time later on I might be able to shift things around and hop on.

The Crash Hard 2.0 Map v1.3

Off-Road Trials by Hendrixx v1.0.1

 

Currently the server is loaded up with "Parkour 3".  Carkour maps are a lot of fun.   Full map list at the top has been updated.  I can always swap to ANY of the maps listed, just have to let me know.

 

Also, because of the mods list growing to over 3GB now, I've added a direct download link to the mods used on the server, and included directions on how to put the mods in the right spot.   Whenever I update the mods on the server, I will also ensure that the download in the OP is also updated.

I was actually having kind of a hard time getting it to load into the Cyberpunk map on the server, so swapped back to Motorsports Playground lol.

Update:
Added 3 new mods to the pack and 2 new maps.  New (latest version) pack is uploading right now and the OP will be corrected once it is.  I've also added a new "updates" section to the OP, so if you miss an update to the mods list, you can easily just grab the latest updates from the last version you had without the need to re-download the full 3+GB.  Hopefully it doesn't get TOO confusing.  Will have older mod packs listed under the updates section as well, for archival purposes.

 

Also switched to google drive over OneDrive.  15GB > 5GB.  That should be sufficient to host what I've got going on here, at least for a while.  If the mod pack starts getting broken, for whatever reason and I have to delete stuff, it'll end up being a full re-download for everyone anyway as I'll have to update the whole pack to delete stuff.  Hopefully that doesn't happen, but it can since mods.

That's why I uploaded "updates".  That way you don't HAVE to download the whole pack again that I did the first time.  For you, you just need the v0.02 "update" pack I uploaded.  Using the repo only adds it to your SP mods list, BeamMP has to be zip files anyway.  

I "could" start doing links to the repo, but then people might get confused where to put them at, or just hit subscribe and not know why its not working in multiplayer.

Armored tank?  Do I need to do a v0.03 already?

Server status:  OFFLINE

 

Currently pending review on the mods list as the game was just updated to v0.26 and there's been quite a few changes to the game itself.  Some of the mods I had on the server are now redundant, and others may or may not work.  Will be trying to keep the map list though.  Unfortunately, be prepared for a whole new server mod pack that's complete and not an update as I'll be having to delete a ton of mods. -_-  My apologies in advance to anyone that has the mod pack downloaded.  Will be getting it all back online and functional again in the coming days.

While we wait though, feel free to clear your beammp mod folder.  Or don't, up to you.

Awww dude, you've been missing so much without having the mods.  We've just got to get you used to the layout of the menus in the game a little bit more.  You can build any car you WANT into a mad max car with a lot of the mods (and stock cars).   I already went 4x4'ing in the Naches, WA (Dirty 4x4) map with a "Covet" or a little Honda hatchback.  

 

I've still got to go through sometime and redo the mods list and get a proper update going again so we have a good baseline for the latest version of the game.

Missed your post about the tank. Yes i saw an armored tank with a cannon. No idea if it in the repository though.

 

Need to try Vulkan Experimental it worth it.

Speaking of server status!  We no longer have just the ONE server running.  Special shoutout and thanks to @bonami2, we're now hosting 4 servers simultaneously for BeamMP!  This way, I don't have to keep shutting it down to change maps, we can just pick a server that already has the map we want!  So see the first 2 posts in the thread for updates on what servers have what maps running currently!
