Glad they're doing this. Occasionally I encounter people who are still using it on windows 10 because they don't realize that edge exists as a newer replacement, or they just think edge and internet explorer are the same thing.

I held out with IE for a long time because I actually liked it.

 

Now I use the Brave browser which is awesome!

I hear IE and I just think about how we were still on IE6 in 2011 at this one place I worked and were finally moving to IE8.

I made the switch to FireFox years ago.  IE was getting glitchy.  Crashing too often.  Plus, FireFox had many new features IE was missing. 

 

I hate Chrome.  I can crash it easily.

 

I liked the original Edge.  Too bad MS gave up on it.

 

The Chromium based Edge is not bad.  I use it when FireFox has a rare issue.

As a former web designer, I've hated IE pretty much since the dawn of its existence.

 

I used Netscape Communicator before Mozilla became a distinct entity. I haven't used Firefox proper in a long time though. I have no love for the Mozilla Corporation nor the direction in which they've taken Firefox over the years.

I can go 1 better, I'm still using an AOL account I made with the CD that had the AOL offer with IE 5.5  and dial up. Used the CD to update my IE Glass coasters in the mail......

...better actually 'safe', and not sorry. Unlikely than any respectable hacker will try AOL IE 5.5

I was disappointed when AOL switched from floppy disks to CD's.  Just push the write protection tap over and it was free backup storage.
