This is a very unique and definitely innovative technology for online games, and it'll be interesting to see which effects it'll have on Star Citizen's gameplay environment. Basically, if you drop a coffee cup or abandon your ship somewhere in the vast Stanton System, someone who visits the same location will find what you have left. This is especially interesting seen in combination with salvaging.

As promised earlier this week, today Cloud Imperium Games finally released the latest major update for Star Citizen, Alpha 3.18.

Nice to see them moving forward.  The last time I played they hadn't sorted the netcode and servers were sending all events to every user, not just the local events they should see.  Any time someone spawned a Catapiller ship, the server would crash within 5 minutes.
