As a reminder, RedGamingTech had already leaked a roadmap featuring Intel Arc GPU plans for the near future. The presentation clearly stated that the Battlemage series should launch no sooner than Q2 next year, with early enabling planned for Q1.

What is reportedly now mentioned on yet another unreleased slides, is that the Battlemage series would double the Xe-Core count compared to ACM-G10 GPU. Instead of 32, gamers could see up to 64 Xe-Cores on flagship GPU, most likely called BGM-G10.

...a nice step forward (if the drivers keep pace) but I still think Intel needs a halo product to make a real splash, ie. 128 xe-cores with all the trimmings

Yup. I like farting around with my A770, but it's not good enough to make it's way into any of my daily use PCs. Would love to see Intel release something that could at least compete with previous gen flagship cards.

Picked up an A380 recently and will be pairing it with a 10900 and 64gb for a media server / multi use secondary pc.   Wanted AV1 support and it was the cheapest route.  The fact that it currently has a pretty decent software bundle currently made it more than worthwhile.

Contemplated picking up a 16GB A770 at Micro Center just to have one, but still $350, so I am thinking I have better uses for that money. I don't actually need one. I'm also not one who has a collection, but I did think it would be cool to have.

Maybe when Battlemage releases.

The a380 cost me $120 new from newegg and it's the smaller asrock challenger itx one.  The software alone in that bundle cost more than the gpu and I needed similar software so it more than paid for itself.    Now I just have to get around installing it (and building said pc it will be going into).
