This is a quick note to announce that we have moved the Dark Theme feature away from Premium Accounts and we have now made it openly available to all. You can enable the Dark Theme via your account settings HERE.

This is a good move. When I was first lured over here from OCN, dark theme was my first priority. I picked up a subscription to get it because I knew this place was full of good people and I realize that it takes money to grow a site. At the same time, I wouldn't want people to not join or stick around over something as trivial as dark mode. 

 

Thank you for your continued work to improve the site and make it more accessible to our growing member base!

Some sites I actually prefer the lighter theme vs the dark theme and this is one of them. That said, these are one of those features that can be make or break to new members. This is the right move for sure. Have to echo Flux's sentiments of thanks and appreciation for the many ways you continue to grow and improve the site.

I appreciate the feedback. Originally the Dark Theme was a way to push the subscriptions, however after thought, a Dark Theme is super important to some and as you say, can be make or break whether or not people stick around. It is more important for me to grow the community and make it a place everyone wants to be a part of. Having the Dark Theme behind a paywall, no longer made sense.
