Those product codes are already listed by AMD in the official OPN product list, but without a name for each SKU. Turns out there is a leak that already exposes those names specifically for the new Threadripper series.

The new platform should utilize either the LGA6096 (PRO) or LGA4844 (HEDT) socket, both using modern technologies such as DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen5 interface. Details such as clocks or maximum TDPs remain unknown.

...about time ! I wonder if the current TR water-blocks can be reused for the -Pro line (ie. standoff spacing) ? Hopefully, the -Pro line can also be oc'ed, at least via PBO and CO...

Well it going to cost so much i don't think no one will try overclocking a 6k usd processor.  Maybe we get lucky and we can get one for less than 3 grand

Threadripper was awesome back in the day, but they as expected, prlced themselves out of awesome. While I get its a higher tier product segment, AMD could have made a killing if they kept the TR series within reach of your standard consumers.

...AMD was more fun when they were the underdog in CPU land. After various Intel HEDT CPUs I had, the Threadripper 2950X / MSI Creation was my first AMD CPU (on my first MSI mobo) and it was great...actually still is - I use it as a secondary machine now.  The MIA of Intel in the HEDT market after the 10980XE until very recently changed AMD's hunger and motivation; the rest of it was taken up by the undeniable presence of the 16c/32t AMDs in the desktop / workstation hybrid space.

 

...I wonder where AMD will end up pricing the two new TR versions - perhaps at / or a tad below the new competing Sapphire Rapids models
