I was thinking my 8 core laptop was futureproof. Then i got a 13900k thinking 24 core was pretty good. Then this... 

 

Soon we will see 13.3 - 14 inch laptop with 32 core Ryzen

What is amazing is that these are regular Zen4 cores (just binned) but with ludicrously low power consumption. Being regular cores means no funny stuff with scheduling et al. So yeah, 32 core Ryzen laptops are a real possibility. Personally, I like to settle at a slightly different config: A nice 32 core oc-able Threadripper Pro w/ VCache and 12-channel DDR5 'desktop'

Will they actually be good at folding vs multiple 4090s. I'll have my four going for the next foldathon, so should be a nice bump over what they were doing previously
