Ads Testing

Hello all, 

 

For a while now we have wanted to get ads setup on the site to help with the continual running of the community from an expense perspective, that time has now come. We are currently in the process of implementing and testing ads on the site through Google. During this testing phase you may see some undesirable ads or placements, however please note that this is a testing phase only and what you see is not the finished result. 

 

I just wanted to give a heads-up so there isn't any undue panic

On mobile there are occasional pop down ads that block you from accessing the bell notifications because it covers it. Not immediately noticeable is the arrow to pop the ad back up. Will try to get a pic next time I see it.

No problem, I did see that one during testing

Just as an FYI, we are mostly complete with the ads testing and I will soon be able to mark that off as complete
