Shipping documents revealed specifics about the hardware, including two models named Arc "Battlemage" X3 and Arc "Battlemage" X4. Glad Intel. Hasn't given up on this. Hopefully they start gaining traction sooner than later.

Yea, the additional competition is nice.  I ended up throwing the A380 I had in my workstation rig to use for my GF's i3 12100 lower power system (mostly used for business/school/light photoshop) and it's been solid.  My only complaint is the idle power draw.  If intel can hammer that out they really are going to be quite the contender in the next gen or two.

Considering the outstanding progress Intel has made in the last 2 years with dedicated GPU's I see big things for them if they keep up this trajectory. Granted they have work to do to make Nvidia sweat, but I reckon they could give AMD a run for there money sooner rather than later.

Yeah, especially with AMD giving up the high end. That just makes Intel primed to take more of AMD's market share if they play their cards right.
