USAA agreed to a $3.25 million nationwide class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims that it failed to prevent a 2021 data breach that compromised sensitive personal information.

The USAA class action settlement benefits individuals whose personal information was accessed, stolen or compromised as a result of the USAA data breach on or around May 6, 2021.

The final approval hearing for the USAA data breach settlement is scheduled for May 21, 2025.

In order to receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by April 7, 2025

I think class actions aren't covered enough in the news. If you, or anyone you know was using USAA in 2021, there's a paycheck waiting if you fill out the paperwork. USAA serves military members and their families.
