Seems to be slightly less.  I had to reboot and haven't fired it back up, but its reporting around 6m PPD so far.  I can probably give better numbers in a day or so.

9070 XT seems to be settling in around 6-6.7m PPD or so (mine and Labrat's both).
7900 XTX is settling in around 7.7m PPD.

Update folding fine. Seem like Task Manager can't read properly gpu load on amd. It fine on hwinfo64

Just a couple more days, and since we're still wanting to do the prizes, let's shoot for 25 people involved in the foldathon instead of 50.  We need 8 more people to fold, just get your names on the board!

Question.

We didn't come anywhere NEAR the numbers I was hoping to see, of 50 participants.  I even lowered that down to half and said 25 people join up and we'll still give out these prizes.  Unfortunately, we ended up with 17 participants.  So we want to hear from YOU.  All of you.

Mine and Labrat's position is maybe we shouldn't send out these prizes as we didn't hit even half of the participants we wanted.  Or perhaps maybe just offer up the RAM kit as a random draw since the RAM kit wasn't too expensive.  What do you guys think?  I was sincerely hoping we'd hit those metrics.  Let's get your guys' opinions on the prizes and what we should do with them as the event winds down today.

i think doing a random draw for all the prizes is a good idea. i doubt i will win anything from a random draw but i still think doing a random draw for all the prizes is a good idea

No worries bro.  We're just happy to be able to bring these events back again, and hopefully bigger and better each time.

I know YOU might not want prizes, but what do you think we should do about them?  We're trying to listen to everyone's opinion on this one, as I think this was the biggest prize pot the site's had to date, but also the lowest participation rate.

We had a Sponsored one a while back i think with lots of stuff.

Am not sure lot of member wanted to win. But the starting goal was 40 no?

I think we should push thing to the next one but at the same time i don't think getting more people would be easy.

 

Maybe with split in half. Half the item for this event on a draw and the rest for the next big event.

Prizes are nice but i really do not think the ones that folded was doing it just for the prizes. Save the prizes for a later contest when we have more participation. It was a very nice gesture to put up the prizes though Pio. Much respect Sir!!

I was hoping to get some more competition to make me dying of heatstroke with all my stuff folding more worth it.  

 

I understand that it may take a while to build back up to where we were previously. A lot of users jumped ship when the site was about to go down and don't want to jump back and forth from team to team. I am in that position myself. I went to [H]ardforum to fold when I thought EHW was going under. I feel a bit of commitment to both and as such have been splitting my resources between the two teams. 

 

As for the prizes, we didn't hit either of the set milestones so I'd save them for the next big event.
