I bought a lot of those pads when @Avacadosaid something about them. They really work great! I still have some left too. What are you going to use them for?

It's the UT60 as opposed to the XT45 which you got. Meaning it is 15mm Thicker!

I gave it a few days before answering this question, but I've actually loved it from the second I got it.  The Cherry MX clears are my 2nd favorite switches and they're way quieter than my first favorite switches (Cherry MX whites).  That's perfect for my use because this is going to be used at home and I'll be taking my full-size keyboard with whites back to work with me when we go back to the office.

...got a collection of the 'narrower' Thermalright Extreme pads already ranging from 0.5mm to 2mm (good stuff !) - these wider ones are for the back-plates of two GPUs

'grats ! You'll have fun with that one ! I love my 6900 XT - not quite as fast as the 3090 Strix system, but somehow, more fun w/ oc'ing ...water-cooling made a difference re. sustaining the custom MPT 400 W mod...MPT 'FTW'

Thanks... due to some shipping stuff and issues with my order I actually ended up with an RX 6800, but I'm happy with it.

Speaking of cooler heads, while I'm waiting on the micrometer to show up, I've roughed out the copper backplate I'll have cut for the KPE 3090. I'll drill the screw holes myself (reflected in yellow) on the drill press, but all the other cutouts will be done by my water jet guy:

 

 

The nice thing about doing this is now I'll be able to fasten anything I want to the backplate using countersunk holes on the inside of the plate. It'll make for a much tighter fit thermal-wise, and I won't have to drill any holes in the oem backplate.

A Corsair Obsidian 1000D is on its way to me, the Fractal Design 7XL is not big enough for what I want. A few members had some advice on other big cases, but the square boxes are too wide to fit where I want the system to be. 
@BWG Ordered an EVGA 3090 NVlink bridge for me, I can't get that one over here. (And  guess what that means.. )

Against all advice from @J7SC_Orion and all the recent complaints about issues with their blocks I was desperate enough to order a pair of EKWB Quantum FTW3 blocks and pre-ordered the active backplates. I really hope I'm lucky, fingers crossed..
