This is kind of obscure news but the main reason I am posting this is I've found this story to be really interesting. Ubi had huge expectations for this game and they rushed it out as a looter shooter when the previous game wasn't that way at all, and people hated it. Not only that but there were a lot of other issue with the game. Ubisoft is really the only game dev with a good track record of fixing broken releases with serious gameplay changes and this is looking to be another situation like that. It's unique to see a dev basically admit they messed up and backtrack on a lot of gameplay features with a relatively new title.

They did it with the division 1 and 2.  I'm hoping EA follows through on the anthem rework cause that game had so much potential.

Indeed, I've somewhat randomly gone back and played both Division games some recently, and they really have changed quite a bit since release. Been very refreshing to see.
