Marketplace Section?

Are there any plans for this, including a Wanted/For Sale section and an Online Deals section primarily? I figure it wouldn't be a top priority since it's not the most straightforward thing when it comes to trading, so I was just wondering if there were some longer-term ideas for it.

The section does exist, but not visible. As you say, it was not and is not a high priority. There will be a marketplace section, but not until other words have taken place. Plus the marketplace is something I want to work on so that is has a good feature set and its intuitive, rather than just having a basic system. The marketplace will also operate differently here than other sites, while users can earn their way into the system as a non premium member, it is possible (though not completely decided) that marketplace access will also be given to premium members as well.

Okay thanks, that's what I figured. Just wanted to ask so I could stop guessing. Definitely better to try to nail all of that down before making it public, then it becomes a messy work in progress.

Yeah I prefer to stay away from half-baked works. Always get a project to release stage and you can make improvements from there on in. Releasing a half finished item and making it a WIP is not ideal

I was gonna make a thread but might as well pile on to the suggestion - what about a "Deals" forum? 

 

I imagine it'd be included with the WIP marketplace but it's not really a marketplace

A deals section will return for sure, though while separate from the Marketplace I may see if I can incorporate it, If not then I will just make it standalone
