My p20 is known to have great battery life but I run it down in my 12h workshift and I lost 30% capacity in 2 years.

 

I paid £650 for it new, great spec and is better value in comparison to other more mainstream names.  This is why I struggle to see the value in phones like the Pixel 5 so far as hardware. It goes for £599 and when you look at what it is packing.....I would rather spend the extra for the Oppo.

It looks like they're no longer in the audio/video business.  I have an Oppo blu-ray player that I bought back in 2009.  If you were looking for a high end player, they were popular choice.

Oppo is china owned, but the audio/video division was in California USA.

lol, well the cell buy out (t mobile/sprint) caused my 3rd party phone provider to have to upgrade my phone since it was using both and I HAD sprint and the phone wasn't compatible with t mobile. Went from the Dino to a newer cheap phone with the following specs for free... Brand = MAZE

Model: MS5514G

Chipset: SC9832E

Screen Size: 5.5"

OS: Android 10 Oreo (Go Edition)

Camera: 5MP back and 2MP front

Memory: 1GB+8GB

Battery: 2100mah

 

Seems strange having a screen I can actually watch something on.

I am going to hyjack this thread if possible. I'm in need of a new phone. Apparently Atnt is shutting their 3G network down and even though I have a 4G capable phone, Atnt is telling me that it still uses 3G to make calls so I need to switch to something else. Currently I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. 

 

If anyone has suggestions for a ~$200 phone that has a good screen res, at least 6.5 inches and decent specs, would be much appreciated!
