Oh nice, you bought a 5th one for me? Yes, I modded 2 cards so far. On the ASUS DCII it's easy to solder an EVC2 onto the controller. Sadly mine is a turd and clocks like sh.. The controller is 7mm wide The Gainward, which I used for my current subs, has one of the worst controllers. OVP kicks in at 1.2v so I only have 1.199v to play with. It still did 1170mhz at that voltage at 30°C. Now I could try a VID mod, which is basically moving resistors between a high or low position. Each position is either a 0 or 1 which makes up the binary number for the final voltage. I've never done that and I'm not sure if I'm capable.. Since those subs I added a few caps to see if that helps my clocks a bit. Caps, measure points and 2x feedback mod. As for the Gigabyte SOC, I didn't test that one yet besides on air (1070mhz). I'll try to get to that today if I feel like it. The pcb looks solid The 4th one is not here yet, the person taking care of that is sick at home (as is the whole world around me as it seems like, including me..) That should be the Zotac AMP! Edition. Update from the middle man:

Oh yeah, my bad. I'm confused with all the guys receiving Ti's
-
Well, a 560Ti isn't a bad thing to own. It just sucks that it's so hard to find the correct card. I always double check the pictures for stickers and other info, compare the PCB to the TecgPowerUp PCB pictures and if I'm not sure I'll request more info or proof. Anyways, have fun with the card. I hope you'll find a GTX560 to play with. On another note, I drilled holes in an RTX30 series bracket to fit the 51x61 hole spacing on the GTX560:
-
You should've seen the Cheapaz discord channel, at least half of the guys got Ti's advertised as GTX 560's It sucks though...

In for the win, but most of all to have some fun Currently in possession: Gainward GTX560 GS ASUS GTX560 DCII OC On the way: Gigabyte GTX560 SOC Zotac GTX560 AMP! Edition Want to buy: ASUS GTX560 DCII Top Sparkle Calibre GTX560 DF EVGA GTX560 FTW+ Why? Gotta Catch 'Em All

It didn't make it due to 3 other subs being higher. @Sir Beregondposted his sub after you and knocked yours out

A big thank you to everyone who helped us, whether it was a single submission or the goal of benching for each individual stage. It for sure gives me a warm feeling to see you all come together and help out where possible. As for our result, it was so cool seeing us in the top 3 for 55 days out of 60, being in first for some time, fighting back a few times to take back a spot and so on! Thanks again, and see you next time I like that idea I'll dm you the list within an hour. I need to look through all our subs but I'm pretty sure the spreadsheet is accurate. I just came home, will get it sorted

Nah, it's just the classy being a * (seriously can't even say b.tch ) When I was over there I couldn't get anything done with that board. The CPU's were good for 8000+ mem and we couldn't get them to run 7000 with loose timings.

Sorry, not with this heat over here... The cascade produces about 1200w of heat, no way I can keep the room temp below 35°C I'm not at home during the week, same for last week and the next 3 so it's only in the weekends that I have some time. I was hoping to use the cascade on the 4300g but it is what it is.. (it would benefit us more if each stage is filled rather than having the number one spot)
-
With 4 days and 22 hours remaining we are in 5th place with 1459 points. We have 85 out of 99 submissions, which is impressive! We are still missing a few pieces of the puzzle though, so if anyone feels like benching some hardware the coming days...

It happens, my third GPU delid failed too. Still sucks though, cause it would've performed way better with a waterblock on the bare die.
-
My GTX 285 was doing the exact same, clock it slightly higher and it messes up. I don't really know where that's coming from, but I didn't feel like figuring it out (for now).
-
No need to be sorry, I only tried to explain that there is usually some delay for me
-
Yeah, I do have a rather demanding job and some other things I spend time on There are more things we need to fix, but I didn't have much time until this weekend. I'm glad @Avacado updated most of the spreadsheet in my downtime.

Yeah, she was cold! The ice buildup is crazy after shutdown. Takes a long time to heat up too

Thanks bud Yeah, my first advice would be to stay sober during sessions like this The preparation is key and takes 90% of the time, but it's easy to mess things up and I'm glad I didn't. I bet if I do this more often things will go smoother, less figuring out and more fun. Regarding the diamond plate, if you would be in my line of work I bet you would have a lot of F&F flashbacks. Most of the enginerooms are covered in diamond plates

Thanks guys I really hope I can do this more often, now I need an LN2 sponsor for the next event Thanks, this once was my F@H frame and is now enjoying life as the bench frame. It is really enjoyable to work with this setup, being able to walk around makes it even better!

This weekend I've been playing with dry ice on an MSI RX5700XT. It was my first time with dice and running a GPU sub ambient (the previous attempts with the cascade didn't go so well). It was fun and I learned a few things at the same time, for instance: don't put too much dice and acetone in the pot or it will boil over the edge and make the GPU stop working I managed to take back my gold in TimeSpy (for now) and get a second place in WildLife Extreme for the team competition. Near the end of todays run the pot started leaking, acetone is dirty stuff and makes its way through threads sealed with Loctite. The shop towel protecting the motherboard was getting wet from Acetone, not ideal. Anyways, here are a few pictures, a YouTube video and a few links to submissions: /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s 3DMark - Time Spy score: 12968 marks with a Radeon RX 5700 XT HWBOT.ORG The Radeon RX 5700 XT @ 2449/1850MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark - Time Spy benchmark. Finally: It's not worth extra points (for now), but it was fun to finally get it working! Direct YT link: https://youtu.be/5tzUJJY1q3o?feature=shared

25Kg of dry-ice on the way. I hope that's enough to get something to work properly and get a decent score Sadly @server075 can't make it, so I have to do this alone. @neurotix even if it seems like your score doesn't count towards the total, it's always good to have a backup subbed. We've seen in the past that some results get deleted when there are mistakes made, and even after checking everything several times we still don't see everything. Your score would be the next one to count and make a big difference in the points total. Besides that, I think it's fun to try different hardware for a sub or two.

Drinking, did anybody say "drinking"???
-
We took back second for now, thanks to Looze Also, I managed to get a sub in with the 12300. It was a battle to get that to work properly, ranging between 131 and 128bclk during the benchmark. I had to use the blck up and down button to get the highest possible bclk per test /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s Geekbench6 - Multi Core score: 11698 points with a Core i3 12300 HWBOT.ORG The Core i3 12300 @ 5500MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the Geekbench6 - Multi Core benchmark.
