  1. There was no large shirt, I guess I have room to grow now
  2. Yeah, she was cold! The ice buildup is crazy after shutdown. Takes a long time to heat up too
  3. Thanks bud Yeah, my first advice would be to stay sober during sessions like this The preparation is key and takes 90% of the time, but it's easy to mess things up and I'm glad I didn't. I bet if I do this more often things will go smoother, less figuring out and more fun. Regarding the diamond plate, if you would be in my line of work I bet you would have a lot of F&F flashbacks. Most of the enginerooms are covered in diamond plates
  4. Thanks guys I really hope I can do this more often, now I need an LN2 sponsor for the next event Thanks, this once was my F@H frame and is now enjoying life as the bench frame. It is really enjoyable to work with this setup, being able to walk around makes it even better!
  5. This weekend I've been playing with dry ice on an MSI RX5700XT. It was my first time with dice and running a GPU sub ambient (the previous attempts with the cascade didn't go so well). It was fun and I learned a few things at the same time, for instance: don't put too much dice and acetone in the pot or it will boil over the edge and make the GPU stop working I managed to take back my gold in TimeSpy (for now) and get a second place in WildLife Extreme for the team competition. Near the end of todays run the pot started leaking, acetone is dirty stuff and makes its way through threads sealed with Loctite. The shop towel protecting the motherboard was getting wet from Acetone, not ideal. Anyways, here are a few pictures, a YouTube video and a few links to submissions: /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s 3DMark - Time Spy score: 12968 marks with a Radeon RX 5700 XT HWBOT.ORG The Radeon RX 5700 XT @ 2449/1850MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark - Time Spy benchmark. 6. Finally: It's not worth extra points (for now), but it was fun to finally get it working! Direct YT link: https://youtu.be/5tzUJJY1q3o?feature=shared
  7. My first succesful subzero run with a GPU. This is an MSI RX5700XT with unlocked power and clocks. The memory hates life cold, so I had to drop around 150mhz compared to my watercooled run.  I'm thinking about getting some memory heaters to solve issues like that for future runs.
  8. 25Kg of dry-ice on the way. I hope that's enough to get something to work properly and get a decent score Sadly @server075 can't make it, so I have to do this alone. @neurotix even if it seems like your score doesn't count towards the total, it's always good to have a backup subbed. We've seen in the past that some results get deleted when there are mistakes made, and even after checking everything several times we still don't see everything. Your score would be the next one to count and make a big difference in the points total. Besides that, I think it's fun to try different hardware for a sub or two.
  9. We took back second for now, thanks to Looze Also, I managed to get a sub in with the 12300. It was a battle to get that to work properly, ranging between 131 and 128bclk during the benchmark. I had to use the blck up and down button to get the highest possible bclk per test /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s Geekbench6 - Multi Core score: 11698 points with a Core i3 12300 HWBOT.ORG The Core i3 12300 @ 5500MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the Geekbench6 - Multi Core benchmark. 10. Now this was a fun one So much effort for a stock run, but at least we have a few more points. Now I'm thinking about getting a decent board for this CPU.. 20230802_192950.mp4 /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s 3DMark11 Physics score: 5762 Points with a Core i5 2380P HWBOT.ORG The Core i5 2380Pscores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark11 Physics benchmark. 11. The maximum CPU frequency is updated on both the AM5 benchmarks: The new max is now 5008mhz instead of 5005mhz. There were issues with clock drift causing many invalid subs. /img/logo.png Overclocking, overclocking, and much more! Like overclocking. HWBOT.ORG HWBOT is a site dedicated to overclocking. 12. Are you sure you can't do more than 3 submissions? If not I would suggest asking the mods to delete the previous submissions. Also, if you are going to mess with the 7700x I can leave mine alone to save me some time. There are enough setbacks already with the other hardware causing a lot of extra work
  13. Giving the streaming rig a little workout. 3Dmark11 Extreme on 660Ti SLI, it only took an hour from installation to upload /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s 3DMark11 - Extreme score: 6439 marks with a GeForce GTX 660 Ti HWBOT.ORG The 2x GeForce GTX 660 Ti @ 1254/1652MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the...
  14. Even better, a lot of time left but it looks cool
  15. 7700X and a B650E for the AMD AM5 benchmarks Thanks AMD for the stupid design, so I used the LN2 pot threads 20230706_203406.mp4
  16. The whole card will be screaming later Covered in vaseline or plastidip, frozen over, 1.5v through the core and 1.75v through the mem holding on for dear life..
  17. Yesterday I picked up the 3D printed brackets for the cascade to mount on a few different GPU's. Here is a test fit on the HD6850. This one has EVC2 voltage control so I can properly blow it up I'm also gonna test windows 8.1 with driver 13.12 on x570/5800x instead of w7 on z690. Hopefully with some better results.
  18. And another one for those interested. Audio is acting up a bit, OBS/mic not playing nice
  19. A follow up video about the EVC2SE connected to the HD2600XT and the testing of functionality.
  20. I recorded a video about the 2600XT, fun little card
  21. Today I received an MSI HD2600XT 512Mb DDR3 card for the team cup. I cleaned the GPU and recorded this video of me checking out the card and possible voltmod options.
  22. Whohoo I watched your YT video too, cool stuff Speaking of Youtube, I should probably record some of the work to share that here Ha, I tested 3 GPU's already. Better to do it now I have a little bit of time instead of when the comp is actually going and work decides to go crazy
