I_Leak_VN also reports that the pricing of the chip is going to be around $765 US in Vietnam so we can expect the $750 US price range for the global markets as revealed in yesterday's listing.

AMD and its partners are expanding the availability of the RX 7900 GRE, also known as the Golden Rabbit Edition. Initially designed as an exclusive GPU for the Chinese market, AMD also confirmed its plans to make the RX 7900 GRE available through system integrators in other regions as well. But the card also became available through the DIY market in Europe very quickly

Following the conclusion of the Chinese New Year holidays, AMD is now focusing on addressing retailers who have been selling these models below the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). Initially set at 2219 RMB for the RX 6750 GRE 10GB model and 2379 RMB for the RX 6750 GRE 12GB SKU, the prices have reportedly dropped to 2149 RMB and 2249 RMB, respectively. To counter this price reduction, AMD is actively collaborating with distributors and retailers to exert stricter control over the pricing of these cards. According to reports, AMD has taken measures such as imposing fines on distributors who engage in these pricing practices. These fines range from 500 RMB to 1000 RMB, and in extreme cases, may even result in the suspension of sales if the issue persists.

The 780W AC from EuroCom is a high-power power supply for the most high-end systems offered by this company. EuroCom worked on adding more options for users to switch DC cables, enabling support for a wider range of laptops. Worth noting that this adapter is not a new product, on a contrary, it was released 7 years ago. But the company continues to support it by adding more DC adapter options.

  5. So many application for AI i once worked at the montreal port and the truck entering the area to pickup container or deposit all where guided by a security team of 2 driving around like dumbass trying to see what line was clear for another truck in between all the other truck and where stopping truck in like 3 separate line depending on the number of the zone they where going it was a damn nightmare.

Meanwhile you put 20-40 camera and an ai and you remove two job and everything is automated and 400% faster.

I appreciate your input, bonami2. I agree that AI is a double-edged sword that could have both positive and negative impacts on the world. However, I don’t think we should be pessimistic or fearful of the future.

AI is a tool that can be used for good or evil, depending on who controls it and how they use it. I believe that we, as humans, have the responsibility and the power to shape the direction of AI development and ensure that it aligns with our values and goals. That’s why I think it’s important to have a diverse and inclusive community of researchers, developers, investors, and users who can collaborate and communicate effectively on AI issues.

I hope that Sam Altman and his partners will be transparent and ethical in their AI chip fabrication project, and that they will consider the social and environmental implications of their actions.

This took all of a few clicks on my side bar, in which I asked copilot to respond to this thread as me.

I hope this serves as an absorbable point. I know it's not as annoying as I am yet, but they're working on it.

This is hilarious haha. But the human part make it better.

For some reason all AI text feel too perfect and robotic to me. Human arent perfect.

Those damn AI are too soft.

I need to try that copilot thing look pretty fun for someone like me with some learning disability. I can't write better even if i try.

ROTFL the older games were at least honest and threw the Nvidia logo right across the screen and said something about plays best on Nvidia so you knew they were in the green teams pocket. Now you have to look a bit deeper to see who supporting what the best. But they are still all taking money from 1 team or another in my opinion, otherwise you wouldn't see such differences when propriatary tech is turn off.

Ark ascended and beam ng are neither optimised for any brand.

One is on Torque 3d i think and the other is Unreal Engine 5 but run like junk.

That issue is mostly Electronic Art and Ubisoft and other big studio playing dumb game with us.

For the last overclocking technique, a simple memory tune was tested with the DDR5 modules set to 7800 MT/s and tighter timings. This led to the single largest gain in performance with an average uplift of +37.75% over stock and up a +61.14% gain in tests such as Furmark at 1080p.

AMD's Radeon 780M iGPU featured on the Ryzen 7 8700G APU has been overclocked up to an impressive 3300 MHz & consumes a peak 177W power.

Especially where the name of the site has "extreme" in it, most people have more than one rig ?? A more concise rig would allow more in the sig. Below is my sig at anandtech:

    All Doing Rosetta or WCG + F@H === 7 x 7950x + 3 4090 \ 7950x3d + 4090
    4 x Genoa 9554 w/linux 128 threads / 192 gig ram each
    EPYC Genoa 9654 96c/192t, 192 gig DDR5-4800 ECC w/ 4080
    Addition video cards 4080, 3 x 3080TI , 2 x 3090TI, 2 x 3070TI and 4 Titan V's

Now I did not add the dual 7763 and the dual 7V12, as I rarely use those.

You can cheat and put many rigs inside one that what i did. Instead of individual part i listed the complete pc. 😀

I kind of agree with oneplus. If they are talking about cheaper phones. I have seen some phones with 3-4 gigs of ram getting really slow with later android updates. But if you buy a flagship with 12-16GB of ram or more. And with the latest CPU. It should be fine for much longer. So i think flagships should come with longer software updates. Their cheaper phones maybe not. I would expect most phones to come with 8gigs or more now. But i don't think 16GB of ram will be nearly enough in 7 years.

My old oneplus 5 had 8gigs of ram and should of easily supported android 14. About 7 years later. I only upgraded because i wanted a better carrier. But now i upgrade every 2 years. Because i get bored. Why can't anyone make a 5.5-inch flagship with the latest snapdragon. Why does a phone have to be massive.

I had during covid a lenovo duet 5 tablet laptop with chromeos. With 4gb ram and was able to run both youtube and chrome and discord and everything without any lag. And that with a 1080p oled display.

The only reason those phone lag is because the phone company is releasing unoptimised garbage to push you to upgrade.

I ran my fx 8300 at 4.8ghz with only 4gb ram and a ssd windows 11 super smoothly and even run battlefield 4 maxed out in 4k.   SSD cache was fast enough to prevent any issue.

Sure i was using my 6800xt with 16gb vram so it help. But still impressive.

Software issue, not hardware issue. To be more specific, cost issue and them not wanting to pay for the software devs to support hardware that long. Apple manage fine with 6 years worth of feature updates and a further 2 years of security updates.

OnePlus says that just because a company promises seven years of updates does not mean that the software experience will be the same; President also talks about eventual battery degradation

In an interview with Tom’s Guide, Kinder Liu, head of OnePlus, said that offering longer software updates ‘completely misses the point.’ While it is commendable that companies like Samsung and Google are making an effort to roll out the latest version of Android on previous-generation smartphones, it will hardly make a difference if the user experience is not the same. The OnePlus executive states that in addition to the software updates, the fluency of smartphones is just as important.

    WCCFTECH.COM

OnePlus President says the company will not bring seven years' of updates to phones because the hardware will not match the new features

This assertion seems far from accurate in my experience. Having avidly followed hardware trends and delved into specifications for years, it's evident that smartphone manufacturers have been increasing lithium battery voltage for quite some time. This ostensibly boosts capacity marginally while significantly compromising the battery lifespan—a clever ploy for planned obsolescence. However, let's not be swayed by these misleading claims.

Modern smartphones are, without a doubt, technologically advanced and often overpowered for the average user. The capability to handle 4k and even 8k output is commonplace. In fact, these devices can effortlessly support multiple concurrent applications like YouTube, Chrome, and others without any noticeable lag. Remarkably, in some cases, they even outperform Windows 11 on high-end hardware. It's clear that the hardware has surpassed the needs of 99% of users in today's technological landscape.

  14. Personally i can't stand the Amd interface i find it horrendous with ways too many tab for no reason.

Am old school i prefer program for tuning and driver to be separate. Instead of having top of the line msi afterburner. We now have half baked amd software.

My mobile 6800m seem to run great with the default driver but i wonder if they have a custom one for mobile. For some reason the new AFMF seem to do nothing in Ark Ascended meanwhile Nvidia frame gen double fps. Not exactly the same tech so i can't complain. Will test in more game sooner or later 😄

Now just gotta picture Jensen..."Hey hey hey...."

Yes, exactly. I'm all for busting Nvidia's chops here, but to call the 4070 a 4050 is disingenuous. 4070 is basically a 4060 Ti and the original 4070 Ti should have just been the 4070. That would have at least matched the precedence of the previous generation's slotting (minus the 3070 Ti I suppose).

All depend on point of view. No worry.

A gts250 had a 270mm2 die i think.  We are downgrading as years go by 😂

I've been saying that since launch. They are great cards that perform well with great power efficiency. The problem was always the outlandish pricing. I managed to grab an open box 4070 Ti for $585 when Microcenter got flooded with returns at launch. People quickly figured out nobody would pay scalper prices for them.

If the new 4070 Ti Super was $650, I'd be on my way to Microcenter right now to buy one to boost my PPD for the current Folding@home competition.

the 4070 is honestly a 4050 class gpu.

My mobile 6800m gpu is on par with a desktop 6700xt the 6700xt is almost on par with a 4060ti.
