  1. I'd say it is a bug. I left file explorer open over night and it ended up using all 16GB of my RAM. My computer was sluggish until I restarted it.
  2. Is this really a Windows 11 issue though? I've had this exact issue with 7 and 10 as well. Probably 8/8.1 too but that should be a forgotten part of Microsofts OS releases.
  3. It's the same as watching sports on TV. Why watch it when you can find a local club with free membership that will let you join so you can play that sport?
  4. I made a fun meme for this but I don't think I'm going to post it here because it has swearsies in it. But yeah, if you have Twitch, even if you don't stream yourself, it's kind of important to change your password and stream key. I'm actually surprised that it's only 125GB considering the entirety of Twitch got leaked.
  5. You have AMD, right? There's something in the BIOS settings you need to change.
  6. Well, it's not officially out and I have it. The only real issue I have is there doesn't seem to be a way to get the time on the taskbar that's on your secondary monitor. This is kind of important for me because I almost exclusively use my PC for gaming. Being able to see what the time is without having to alt+tab all the time is a nice feature which seems to be removed. I do like the new UI and the dark mode is actually good now. I also like that the search feature is instant now vs Windows 10 where it takes a little while to catch up with what you're typing. I'd still avoid moving fully over to Windows 11 if it's work related though. Dual booting might be good to see if you have any compatibility issues. If you do, stick with 10. If not, switch fully over to 11.
  7. Well, the beta has been out for quite a while and I don't think anyone has really complained about compatibility, at least no more than Windows 10. I haven't tried it myself personally, but I do think if it works on Windows 10, it will work on Windows 11.
  8. Yeah, that's always been the case. Gran Turismo has always been 60fps in gameplay, 30fps in replay mode, photo mode and in the showroom.
  9. Well, nVidia now has Gran Turismo 7 listed in upcoming games. There was also a leaked Sony internal document that said Uncharted 4 and "a racing title" is coming to PC as well. A couple of months later, Sony announced that Uncharted 4 is coming to PC. There's still a chance that GT7 is going to be released on PC as well.
  10. I prefer it that way, GT5 and GT6 they went for quantity over quality, imported all of the cars from Gran Turismo 4 from the PS2 and they got a lot of criticism for it You ended up with really good car models going up against things like this This is the improved model by the way. It was much worse than this. For context, this is what the high quality cars looked like With Gran Turismo Sport, they just scrapped everything and started again from scratch, GT7 is going to import all of the cars from GT Sport which I'm fine with. They're very high quality as seen here:
  11. It is fixed. Just superglue for now, if it breaks again in the future and I can't find a replacement one that's the right wood, I'll just go with the epoxy fix. That should be more permanent if the superglue alone isn't.
  12. Thanks, I'll have to do something like that, I tried 3D scanning something using my phone and the resolution is too low, the highest resolution it can do is 3mm which isn't good enough plus two people I know with 3D printers said don't do it for multiple reasons. I am just going to try superglue at first because it's cheaper and I can get some tomorrow. If that fails, I'll get that if I can find it locally. Importing things from the EU is now a PITA and expensive.
  13. The electric window switches were sticky so I decided to take them out for a clean and a bit of grease so they're not sticky anymore. Problem is, as it turns out, 26 year old plastic is very brittle. I hope superglue is going to be good enough to fix this. If not, I might as well buy a 3D printer that can do ABS. It will be cheaper and easier than trying to source non-brittle replacement parts. My phone does have LIDAR so I think I should just be able to do a 3D scan of the parts. Not sure if it's going to be high res enough to actually use.
  14. So it's not going to go live by next month then. The key phrase there is "as soon as" meaning the earliest. I give it 3 months minimum, 5 realistically, before it actually goes live.
  15. Why sell instead of just holding until it goes back to at least what you paid? That's what I did with my crypto and I sold all of it while still up about 50%. on Sunday.
  16. I keep forgetting to get one, so enjoy this one I found on google images.
  17. That wasn't John Cena and it didn't have anything to do with infiltration. That was purely a business move from Universal. Had he not apologised, the movie, if not, the entire Fast and Furious franchise could have got banned in China and that is an absolutely huge market.
  18. In a recent interview, the develop confirmed that all GT Sport content is going to make it's way over to Gran Turismo 7, so that's 337+ cars.
  19. That's good that you actually got a job you want and weren't forced to work in an Amazon warehouse. There's an Amazon warehouse not too far from me and it's consistently one of the worst places to work as far as health and safety goes. I think they have the highest death rate for any job in the area. But still, it could be the US warehouses where they ambulances on standby instead of paying for AC in the summer because it's cheaper to treat heatstroke than to prevent it.
  20. Don't you have a Samsung Galaxy S phone? Those have had OLEDs screens since the S2. OLED, like every other screen technology depends on how well it's done. I'd say that bad OLED screens are still better than average LCD ones though.
  21. You should paint the red cover in SP-231.
