  1. Does look like you were driving a bit quick for the road conditions. Hindsight is 20/20. Watching that video a couple of times, I want to know how that was a hit and run. You basically took out the rear wheel there. I don't imagine she got very far. As long as you have insurance and are physically okay, it's always going to be "fine" unless that car has a lot of sentimental value. Just a bit of a PITA while the insurance refuses to payout. I've never been involved in any crashes personally except that one time where I wasn't even in the car. An old person who was way too old to be driving reversed into my parked car. I was at the right part of my house at just the right time to see the entire thing happen. Luckily he didn't just drive off, he actually made an effort to try to find out who's car it is. Which to be fair, wasn't that much effort at all because I immediately outside. He was very nice about it actually, he offered to pay me cash to have it fixed. Because it was such a low speed crash, all that happened was a small scratch and the plastic indicator housing broke. Only cost £15 in parts to fix and another £30 in labour. I didn't bother with the scratch because it was already scratched up when I bought it. Unfortunately there's no video because I just didn't have one and I lost the picture a while ago after not making any backups. That crash did actually show the build quality of Volvos very well. The car was a first gen V70. His car was a basically brand new (at the time) Peugeot 107. His car had a damaged rear bumper that was basically hanging off, smashed tail light and smashed rear window. I know @ENTERPRISE had a pretty big crash a little over a year ago
  2. It will be interesting to see exactly what disinformation was being posted from those accounts. I have noticed certain subreddits with tens/hundreds of thousands of followers went from a few thousand new posts per day down to 10-50 new posts per day overnight in February. So I do have an educated guess as to what that disinformation is.
  3. And just a few days later, PMDG release the 737-600 for $35 lol It's well worth the price if you don't want to spend $70 on the 737-700. They're basically the same plane except the 600 is a bit shorter and has better performance (plane, not fps, fps is about the same) due to less weight.
  4. That's not surprising at all. With Apple switching to their own silicon, that's a huge contract lost considering the MacBook Air was the most popular model of laptop in the world despite it's high price. That, and AMD have really pushed forward with their laptop CPUs in the last couple of years. As far as power consumption goes, the latest AMD has to offer rivals that of the M1 chips from Apple. Intel haven't been able to make a CPU that competes with either of those two. Same goes for desktop CPUs as well. AMDs offerings perform better, have lower power usage and are generally cheaper. It seems like the only thing Intel really has going for it these days is server grade stuff.
  5. The in-house Honda tuner probably would have been Spoon if it weren't for nepotism. Mugen weren't that good in the 70s and they aren't that good now.
  6. If it's any consolation, I got yeeted off a bicycle at 32mph and I was fine.
  7. That it impressive. Imagine running a Radeon DDR 7200 when the 7950/70 came out. I did have a 7950 until 2019 because the VRAM was starting to get a bit small for newer games.
  8. I suppose. Either way, it's still an 11 year old GPU.
  9. I'm still up for the moderator role.
  10. Yeah, it is neat. The only real issue with wireless charging is that it yeets your battery if you charge at too high wattage. Wireless charging generates a lot of heat that damages your battery over time. I have my wireless charger plugged into a USB 2.0 port so it's only getting 8W max of charging. So far I've had my phone for 18 months and my battery health is still 100%.
  11. Well, Apple has slowly been moving towards portless on iPhones since 2016, so, yeah. Apple have always been very anti-cable. I've not plugged my previous and current phone into anything, ever. I have no need to. With the way Apples ecosystem works, plugging anything in isn't necessary. Except my laptop which can't wireless charge.
  12. Twitter handed over all of the information they had according to Elon Musk himself, stating that all of it can fit on a flash drive. Now Twitters legal team are preparing a lawsuit on making Elon Musk buy Twitter. The entire thing was a publicity stunt he did to get attention. He does this all the time. He had no intention of buying Twitter. He's since moved back to Dogecoin to get attention with the help of this $258B lawsuit having tweeted about Dogecoin at least twice in the last 24 hours. Look at the facts. He started off saying he wants to buy Twitter because there are too many bots and his solution was to get rid of it. He appeared to do things that made it look like he was intending to buy it while having no intention of buying it. He then tried to weasel his out of it, like he always does but couldn't find a good excuse at first. Starting bringing in the whole "I'm going to stop censorship" "they don't want me to buy Twitter" and "I'm a free speech absolution" nonsense to pander to a certain demographic while at the same time firing Tesla and SpaceX employees as well as cancelling peoples Tesla orders for using their free speech. Thought he'd go back on the whole thing about bots. Which doesn't make sense, stating that there are "too many bots to buy Twitter" even though the entire reason he wanted to buy Twitter in the first place was to get rid of those bots. Twitter said this isn't true and handed him all of the data they had. Now he's stopped talking about it, because like I said, he had no intention of buying Twitter. He did this exact same thing with: Hyperloop $420 Tesla stock buyback Buy Teslas with Bitcoin Buy Teslas with Dogecoin Flamethrowers Solar roofs Full Self Driving coming next year Space tourism Ventilators for hospitals Colonize Mars He goes through cycles very consistently. If nothing else comes up in the next few weeks, he's going to be back on solar roofs as well as house batteries but never deliver, then back to space tourism but never deliver, before going back to the hyperloop and never delivering.
  13. This has nothing to do with that. Elon Musk pulled out of buying Twitter. Just like I said he would, 2 weeks before he did. It's not the media that said he pulled out of buying it either. He said it himself. As far as any attempts go to stop someone from buying something, this is the worst way to do it. There is absolutely no way Elon Musk is going to lose this lawsuit, and his legal team will absolutely counter sue and win.
  14. I have tinted my windows. Haters will say it's fake. I don't have anything to put the car on if I take the coilovers off, I replaced the factory ones because they were just so broken in the first place, I've long since thrown them away and even if I still had them, I don't want to go anywhere near them. They were basically bombs. These coilovers I have are designed for like 10-15 years of hard use so they should handle a couple of years of not really doing anything just fine.
  15. This is a ridiculous lawsuit that's not going to go anywhere. I hope the guy suing will have enough money to cover these court costs and the impending counter suit.
  16. That's really unfortunate. I do know that businesses in general are very difficult to get successful. Even more so for internet forums these days. Yeah, Discord is free.
