  1. It is actually crazy how much better hardware is these days as well as the optimization they've been doing over the years for F@H. There's another forum I'm in that gives out awards for getting to 1 million points. These days you can get 1 million points in a day or two with a year old mid-range GPU.
  2. I'll definitely join in soon. I have F@H set up right now because Alex has a smug coworker because he got 88K points in a week. We got to 2.425M points in 3 days so a nice chunk will be added when I start folding for here. Bare in mind though, that's my RTX 2070 and Alexs 9900K + GTX 1080Ti and Alexs 2500K + GT1030. I'm averaging about 1.2M PPD for 10-14 hours a day.
  3. It is nice that AMD is finally getting put in laptops. Intel has been dominating that market for what? 15 years now?
  4. It's not long now until you dump $5000 into iRacing.
  5. It's definitely a good thing. The PS4/Xbone were underwhelming. Both launched with glorified tablet CPUs and GPUs which at the time were lower-midrange that were a generation old before the consoles even launched.
  6. It does look pretty good. I should have got a photo of the chicken sushi I had.
  7. Is that server just for cruising around? I've wanted to try out LA Canyons for some time, seems like this is a good opportunity. I'll let you know if I pick it up and try it out, thanks for sharing the server. Yeah it is. The entire course is something like 117km/73 miles so it's currently the longest one available and the developers are still adding a lot more to it. It does "only" have up to 60 slots but my server is using all of them. The track set is LAC Freeroam - VIP and the car list is: Alfa 4C x3 Alfa Guilia Quadrifoglio x3 BMW M4 x3 BMW Z4 x3 Corvette C4 ZR-1 x3 Ferrari 458 Italia Stage 3 x3 Ferrari LaFerrari x1 Ford Mustang 2015 x3 Honda NSX-R x3 KTM X-Bow R x3 Lamborghini Gallardo SL x3 Lamborghini Huracan Performante x3 Mazda MX5 ND x3 McLaren P1 x1 Nissan 370Z Nismo x3 Pagani Huayra BC x3 Pagani Zonda R x3 Porsche Panamera Turbo x3 RUF CTR Yellowbird x3 RUF RT12 R x3 Toyota AE86 Tuned x3 Toyota GT86 x3 The server is set to run for 4 days and 3 hours before it resets. I'm not actually sure if I'll leave it running for this long though.
  8. Well then I'd say yes. There's no reason for it to not be an option then.
  9. BeamNG has better driving physics and FFB than Forza 7 which really shows how bad Forza 7 is, as driving physics and FFB aren't the main focus of BeamNG. Also I have a Assetto Corsa server running right now, not sure how long I'm going to keep it running. You will need to install these: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gXqwm2ih9J--hsve2s9SGsz7ssgcCUUs/view as well as at least the "gold" version of LA Canyons. Unfortunately it's not free but IMO absolutely worth it https://sellfy.com/p/ouwtgs/ The server name is andrews2547 and the password is 787b.
  10. No cons so far as I am aware, so long as you have your backup codes should your phone die etc lol It would only be an optional thing for members, not mandatory I meant more as far as costs go and implementing it ?
  11. Lando Norris is doing regular Twitch streams at 4pm GMT. He's mostly doing iRacing races.
  12. Oh, I thought I posted here but I didn't. What are the cons to adding 2FA? I know all of the pros already.
  13. Yeah, it does seem pricy. You can get a wireless charger for around £15-£25 on Amazon, I got mine for £15. This does let you charge 3 different things at the same time but it doesn't justify to cost tbh.
  14. I don't even think it's a problem on their end. You need obscene amounts of bandwidth to get actual 4K 60fps gameplay at decent quality. I'm not sure how well it matches up, but 4K 60fps uncompressed video is huge. I have a 35 second 4K 30fps video that's pretty compressed and it takes up 300MB or 68.5Mbps. Realistically I think to get 4K 60fps with decent compression, you'd need at least 400-500Mbps download without any overhead, so maybe around 600-700Mbps. There really aren't that many people out there with that kind of speed.
  15. Source This is pretty neat. No more searching Google for any health problems only to get results from WebMD telling you you've got cancer.
