  1. Oh interesting. Are you being sponsored or something? What do you mean by "have access to?
  2. I'll definitely be sad if it turns out this way but I think Microsoft is really serious about delivering good games. They've seen Sony beat them at every turn in this race with great titles and I think MS has seen the light in that they see that they haven't had much going on in their side of the ring besides Halo. MS is a different company with Satya Nadella at the helm and Phil Spencer being more autonomous. I'm optimistic they are on a good path.
  3. Do you have any games currently in mind? I could probably write a review for far cry 6...
  4. Windows 11 Android app support rolls out to Windows Insiders WWW.TECHSPOT.COM From today, beta channel Windows Insiders can preview the Android app experience on eligible devices... I'm sure Google is not too happy about this.
  5. God Of War Coming to PC in January - IGN WWW.IGN.COM 2018's God of War is on its way to PC, arriving for Steam in January 2022. Looks like Sony really is going to be doing this more and more. It makes perfect sense, they don't make money from selling consoles but from selling games. Third title games are almost always multi-platform anyway so trying to lock consumers into a console to collect licensing fees on third party titles is probably a strategy that worked a lot better in the past than it does now.
  6. This is a really good video on the future of TSMC and global chip fabrication in general. There is also an article about it here: A first look at TSMC's giant 5-nanometer chip fab being built outside Phoenix WWW.CNBC.COM Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company makes 24% of all the world's chips, and 92% of the most advanced ones found in today's iPhones, fighter jets and supercomputers. Now TSMC is building...
  7. I don't disagree with the sentiment but Microsoft is just trying to catch up to Sony with exclusives and I'm not going to fault them for that. I also think there there are so many game devs out there that it would be hard to congregate them. At the same time lots of larger publishers have gotten greedy and I see having Microsoft behind the wheel as a good way to ensure certain games don't get overly monetized.
  8. Generally I'd agree but since Microsoft puts app their games on game pass it ends up being a good deal in the end and I'm pretty in favor of good deals. I'd also argue Wildlands is a good Ghost Recon game... but the newer one is pretty weak.
  9. Xbox Not Done Acquiring Game Studios | Gaming Instincts WWW.GAMINGINSTINCTS.COM In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Xbox Head Phil Spencer stated that Xbox is not yet done... Personally I'd like to see MS buy Ubisoft. Ubi makes good games that have often have major flaws they take a while to iron out. Microsoft could buy them and sort out their issues... and then release another good ghost recon game. One cane dream.
  10. Off topic but.. The last apartment I lived in had what looks like the same exact faucet. I think it's literally the cheapest one at Home Depot and goes for about $20. I replaced it myself. It's usually not hard to do and worst case you just have to put the old one back when you move, but in my case they were happy to let me leave to better one in. You can get a much better faucet for pretty cheap if you ever want to swap it out, and usually the newer ones are super easy to install. I used to do faucet replacements so I just happen to be pretty familiar with that.
  11. How often do you want a game reviewer to put out reviews? I'd be down to write an occasional review especially if it's for a game I'm already playing but I wouldn't want to do it all the time. I bet a lot of people here would enjoy writing a review once in a while for games they care about. Have you thought about establishing a general format for game reviews and allowing anyone to submit them? I think that would potentially work well here.
  12. Lemme know if you try any of the games I mentioned, if be curious to know what you think. Also just wanted to add my thoughts on It Take Two since they came up. It's not a bad game but it's a really basic one. The gameplay is basically what you would expect from a game designed for kids but the plot has some stuff in it that wouldn't be good for kids so it's a mixed bag, but all and all the gameplay is extremely simple to the point of being pretty boring IMO. I enjoyed playing it with my gf but if I was looking for a game to play with someone else that wouldn't be on my list of recommendations.
  13. Horizon zero dawn is definitely a fun SP game. The audio is really good too, it made my surround sound system feel worth having.
  14. I just started A Plague Tale on game pass. Very cinematic game. Haven't gotten far yet but seems cool for a highly narrative game.
  15. Wildlands is probably the best coop experience I've had in a game in any recent years. You can play coop from the very beginning, you don't have to wait for a tutorial to end and either player can go anywhere on the map at anytime. Not like in far cry where you have to stick together. If you like tactical shooters Wildlands is great. It's a lot like far cry games but I'd say better. On game pass; Trailmakers is cool. It has an interesting coop mode where you have to collect different parts to build your vehicle with, which then allows you to get more parts. A unique game for sure. Raft is a great coop game. Build a raft out of junk and try to survive/expand/explore. Overcooked 1 and 2 are both fun coop games. Lovers in a dangerous spacetime is a little older, but really fun. Factorio and Satisfactory are both great coop factory building games. Stardew valley is great for a relaxing coop game. On game pass; grounded is a cool one. Still early access so it ends quick but still fun/unique. These are just what come to mind as recent-ish games I've played. There are a lot of coop game on game pass I haven't tried. I've been playing far cry 6 coop lately and it's ok, not great. The coop is limited. The second player has to stay close to the first and can't unlock items in all the same ways as the first player. If you haven't played Wildlands and your thinking about trying far cry 6 for the coop, play wildlands instead for sure.
  16. Looks like things have recovered from the recent dip, or really two dips. I'm not a little about where I was before the recent dips started and I never sold or anything.
  17. Have you tried Wildlands? Are you looking for coop game to play with a gf or a friend? I've played a lot of coop games with my gf. I'm sure I could give you a few suggestions.
  18. Whoa haha that's dedication. I knew a guy who got motion sickness from certain fps games it's it turned out the fov had to be 90 for him or he'd get sick. Sounds like your case is unique but might be worth a try.
  19. Intel CEO vows to challenge Nvidia, market is "hungry" for alternative GPUs WWW.TECHSPOT.COM In a recent interview with CRN that covers several topics with Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger, one subject that was... Hope this comes true.
  20. Why can't you do first person? Motion sickness? Have you tried Wildlands? It's a good third person game.
