  1. To put and end to using multiple and most likely not privacy conscious RGB utilities, use OpenRGB. It's open source, works with multiple manufacturers and works in Windows, Linux and Mac. Gitlab Repo Supported Devices

    The ugly side

I picture Frankenstein laying on a table somewhere in that room. ?

    The ugly side

I just use a Sharpie marker. It's quick and easy with no mess.
  4. Those tesla's are now worth less. With this and Nvidia now allowing GPU Passthrough on GeForce cards, no one has to spend the extra money to use virtualization.
  5. That's because the only way to change the UI is to use some sort of "patcher" that could be doing other things than changing the UI. If they used a .css filie that wouldn't happen. It would be user editable and easy to share.... you can see that it's not doing anything sketchy. This is a small sample of a Gnome Shell theme. It's no different than a web site .css file.
  6. Lipstick on a pig. Why doesn't Microsoft just allow custimization of the UI? There's a .dll theme patcher, but it's still limited and at times is over written during updates.
  7. If you're looking for more, I have an ATI 9700 Pro, might still have a HD4850 and either an Athlon Xp 2000 or 1800 (I don't remember which) in an Asus motherboard.
  8. xbox game pass doesn't work because Microsoft chooses not to make it work. There are still plenty of new games that work, Cyberpunk worked on day 1. It's amazing how many Windows games work considering that they're made for a totally different OS.
  9. It was in the material released by Edward Snowden. Users not thinking twice about it is an issue all to it's own and it doesn't make what's happening legal or justified.
  10. There is history, look at Skype. Skype went from being p2p to having centralized servers with government agencies having access. They also let the Linux version die on the vine, only updating it years later with an "alpha" version. What will happen to the Linux version of Discord? Will it suffer the same fate as Skype? Will every one be required to have a Microsoft account to use it?
  11. I still buy CD's. Rob Zombie was just released today and the Crue CD is replacing the cassette tape I got in high school.
  12. I'm playing Wolfenstein: The New Order... only 4.5 hours so far. I think bought it 5 years ago, about time I started playing it.
  13. I don't think the increase in prices has anything to do with a tariff, since nvidia founders and AMD reference models sold on AMD.com are all sold at the stated MSRP. AIB's and retail sellers are taking advantage of the market and have increased prices. Plus the tariff would only affect products made in China and shipped into the US. That doesn't explain the increase in prices in other parts of the world.
  14. That's never been confirmed. It was speculation by a RBC Capital Markets analyst based on Nvidia's total earnings, that exceeded expectations, and repeated over and over and over again.

    The ugly side

He's another old one..just the "ugly side" is also the "pretty side" since this was before leaving room behind the motherboard tray became a "thing". This was my first watercooled system..... it was stolen when my house was broken into.

    The ugly side

Here's an old one of mine. I usually don't take "ugly side" pictures. This was from 2008, an E8400 system in a Lian-Li something that I modded. The other side is ugly too, considering the gawdy DFI Lanparty board that's in it. ?
  17. That kid in the beginning cracks me up.
  18. You would need a dedicated 20A circuit. Single phase house services are 120/240V. A 20A@120V circuit would be 2400W.
  19. Hopefully things will be different in late 2022, early 2023 when this is most likely to be released.
  20. I didn't think I was going to win anything. I was only able to fold for the first 2 days because of technical difficulties.
  21. I should sell my Radeon VII with it's waterblock. It's been nothing but a headache anyway. I have a 1070ti i could use instead. I could use the money to buy a 5950x, or a 5900x....if they actually exist.
