    Rockitcool kit, yes. Usually heat it up to 60-70c, just enough to help soften the adhesive border. It's not meant to soften the solder at that temp.

    I have plenty of SW3's but I do not have any SW4's. My understanding from @PCSargeis that the SW4 Pros are REALLY beefy. I wouldn't expect them to decrease temps by 5c or anything like that, but 1-2c improvement over SW3's is possible.

    Good assumption, It's possible. Hard to know without ambient, humidity and dew point data during the bench runs. Fox has been benching for quite sometime, doubtful he was not specifically tracking that possibility during the runs.
