  1. Solid write up @Sir Beregond! I don't see myself ever needing something this fast, but can see how it would benefit someone in IT. I'll stick to thumb drives until my career as a spy takes off.
  2. Works for me. Looks good, TY for all the work behind the scenes. You too Axi.
  3. I'm not going to tell you that you should quit, you already know you should. I will tell you (Your doctor should have too) that smoking will prolong wound healing and tissue regeneration by 50%. So expect a much longer operative recovery timeframe and plan accordingly. PT is very painful but necessary as 70-90% of musculoskeletal conditions are acute and not chronic. A surgical option is always a last resort and PT being a prerequisite for it is good medical practice despite the pain. Sorry you had to deal with it =/. If you were to do an MRI on the population at age 70, 50% would have at least a mild disc herniation at some level, but may just not be symptomatic.
  4. I have no problems with anything you recommended, up to the big man though @ENTERPRISE. Though there have been a few transactions on the marketplace since it's inception, you may find it hard to move product here until we have garnered a larger member base. As far as the one time donation, that is a great idea which used to be an option, but I can no longer find. You seem to be finding your place in the community just fine and you should consider doing the bronze option as you mentioned, you need not renew if you choose so.
  5. I can relate to this as I have had three back surgeries myself. L-3 through S1. There are quite a few of the guys here with medical conditions that I have learned of as the resident medical professional. My last surgery was close to 10 years back and the third time has seemed to be the charm. I tend to work on tall tables and use a merry-go-round style spinner to rotate my rig on it's side. I implore to follow your restrictions to the letter to avoid having a revision. As to the "How do you deal with it?" question.... You do what you can tolerate without going past your physical limitations and accept the things you can't. If you can't man handle an 80 pound water cooled rig, then you will have to accept the fact that you might only be using air cooling moving forward. If a large case becomes to cumbersome, then you may need to start being a SFF fan boi. I am here if you want to discuss anything you are going through or need some friendly advice, just send me a PM.
  6. It's possible, but you will have to sustain high fan RPM noise to make it viable. I had the same issue in the Silverstone case review I did here on the forums. The UT60 was enough rad for a 9900K and 3070Ti, but during heavy continuous loading, RPM's were north of 2k. It certainly would not fit your 200mm reservoir though. https://extremehw.net/all-reviews/silverstone-alta-g1m-case-sx1000-sfx-l-review/

    2022 Team Cup!

No one said you HAD to my friend, you were just the natural choice. You are the most in tune with HWbot member we have on this forum right now, period. I may consider running it at some point, but I don't really want to put more on my plate right now either. If I catch you on stream at some point we can go over any ideas you might have.
  8. Well, I am the only "Avacado" here that could be eaten. I am sure you are referring to "AvOcado's" which are the healthy fat infused fruit. Hence the joke!
  9. I'm already taken by Pookie Dookie BB.
  10. Seems backwards to label the fat percentage on the receipt. You are a braver man than I, I wouldn't buy ground beef if wasn't at least 92% lean. Gotta stave off that arterial plaque as long as I can.
  11. It would appear you are only getting 27% as actual beef. Might want to check the fat fillers.
  12. I want to be your cousin too. 4090 please.
  13. Won't write songs of you after you are gone, but I would fold on your 4090 on solar power for the remainder of my life (Kinda like Greg does for Hertz).
  14. It's the grandfather to modern tower defense games.
  15. I had an Atari Lynx way back in the day. I was obsessed with rampart. I remember feeling so special that it was the first handheld with a color LCD. Atari Lynx - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG
  16. The RAM MAN himself. Good to see you dropping by David! We miss your content.
  17. GeForce and Tesla drivers do not play nice with each other in my experience. I hope you have better luck!
  18. Really cool ideas Jan. I think it would be nice to be able to send a review for "styling".
  19. 10000MHz on air. Crazy times. DDR5 is exploding right now.
