You don't need to win the competition or overclock to be eligible for the 12900K giveaway. Just submit your results.

Have to read the fine print: "illegitimate children on daddies tech not authorized".

Calling all Alderlake users. This is an Intel sponsored event broken into two separate competitions, Sub-Ambient and Ambient with a top prize of $10000 and $2500 respectively. The ambient competition also has 7 12900KS CPU's in the pot. All you need to do is participate. 1 caveat, there will be a G7400 CPU requirement, so if you want to play, you have to pay.
  5. Yes, that normally occurs when you try to upload screenshots with a file size too large. Try resizing images to 25% of their original value.
  6. @Bastiaan_NL and I have been BCLK OCing Alderlake for the past 3 months. I'd say WCC is behind the coverage on this one.
  7. So here is an idea @ENTERPRISE. If you still have connections with any HW companies, try to get more product. We can then sell the product after reviews. I am 100% ok with that.
  8. Yea i'm in. I'll start donating on the 1st.
  9. Yea, NO. Don't use a razorblade. Get some acetone and saturate. Use a plastic TIM spreader and apply some pressure, it should come right off.
  10. I have held off commenting after I read the initial post because I didn't know what to say. I do wish you had brought this issue forward sooner, we are all ok with advertisements if it means keeping the site afloat. I think all feature integration and development should stop at this point and leave the forum in it's current state. Where are we with ad integration? Is there a timeline? How much revenue would ads bring to the coffers? I usually donate $100 every few months to the site anyway, so I would be fine doing that monthly to help us get by.
  11. That flow meter he has most likely only has a 3-pin for power. I'm not sure you can actually get readings from it. Other than the LCD readout.
  12. That is a setting in bios. You can set it to off when powerd down. And +1 to what Fox said. Those meters have a one way impellor. You would need to switch it.
  13. Go bottom rad intake/sides intake. Top exhaust
  14. I have a 4 port 2.5/ 2 port 10GBe QNAP switch. It's great. Really easy to use Why do your posts always have a white background? It's killing me....
  15. The last thing Jan needs, besides a pump is someone defending his honor. Don't make me get pookie dookie out here.
  16. It's ok, you may be small down there but it takes a BIG man to be ok with it.
  17. Whenever flow and heat are used in a question, NOT talking about the fact that increased pump speed causes increased heat dispersion in the loop would be an oversight. No matter how negligible the excess heat would be. Thats why we talked about it.
  18. That's not how it works. If you "Slow" your loop down to allow for "more time in the radiator" to cool it, then you are conversely allowing that same coolant in your CPU/GPU block to absorb heat as well. The answer is no. There comes a point where having higher flow may not help reduce temperatures anymore, but the notion that high flow inhibits cooling is ridiculous. D5's do dump heat into a loop because they rely on the coolant to lubricate and cool the motor, but this is negligible with a high flow and rad fin density. Not having enough radiator surface area certainly hurts your cooling more than high flow ever would.
  19. $750-$800 Seems like a fair price. A few 10900k's (New) on ebay for 440. and some new darks for about the same price.
  20. Well, you learned a lesson and taught me one. Always check new coolant before filling. Not something I ever did before.
  21. Looks good. Whats that weird PCB near the Octo?
  22. Is that a Caselabs case I spy?
  23. Awe, I had a post on that thread. 2020 keks.
