  1. It's possible, bad batches happen. Really sucked to see your pictures, especially because I always recommend mod water. Opening up a stop fitting on the top of your res and tilting (45-70 degree tilt) the case towards the front panel should allow for coolant to backflow into the pump and out. Do you have any of that coolant left? Put it in a clear glass and see if it still has gunk....
  2. Moving the drain port higher than it already is would be counter-intuitive. Anytime a drain port is higher than a rad, it will always be difficult to drain. You can't fight gravity unless of course you have a datavac.
  3. I have always been charged sales tax when buying on ebay. Like Ultramega said, it's not new. Have you been buying without sales tax so far Kyle?
  4. That stinks. I just used 4 liters of mod water with no issues. Did you vigorously shake the bottle before use? We can talk about your drain port. Its higher than your bottom rad and thats always an issue. You have some soft tube and a data vac right? Open one of the stop fittings on top of the res and drain. after draining, remove the tubing segment from the res to the CPU inlet. Replace stop fitting on top of res and add stop fitting to pump outlet. Attach soft tubing to CPU inlet and attach data vac. Should help completely drain your system at the current drain port.

  6. Totally melts in with the build. Looks great!
  7. Forgot to answer your second question. You should be FINE with 0.5 Bar held for an hour. I usually go extra cautious at 0.75-1 Bar. Even if there was a very slow leak like losing 0.2 bar from 0.75 in an hour, it still should be fine. Air easily escapes faster and is less dense than water/coolant. I have filled a few complicated loops with very minimal "Air" leaks and had no problems.
  8. Aqualink would work. https://shop.bitspower.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=aqua+link&page=2
  9. I was actually just thinking about this today with my G7400 and extra 1700 Strix.
  10. Lost the will to grind BP's yet again. =/ Maybe in a few months I'll get the itch again!
  11. He was migrating from a rockitcool delid with copper IHS to direct die with that kit from supercool. Temps going from stock to the direct die will be substantial. For the price, yes. Only worth it if you do not plan on going direct die. I have 2 of the black Thermalright ones waiting to be installed.
  12. There are 2 of us. @Mr. Fox has installed it and run testing and @iamjanco owns it, but hasn't powered on his new rig yet. @Bastiaan_NL and myself are running LM rockitcool delids w/ copper IHS reseats. You can find Mr. Fox's blurb about it here:
  13. Good question. Liquid electrical tape and nail polish should work fine. Thermal Grizzly sells conformal coating (It's red). I use This. UV reactive so you can see where you put it.
  14. Their cases were the bomb. The Antec 900 was an absolute beast when it came out. I always wanted to get a hold of a 1200, and still do. But never found one.
  15. I've been reading what you all have been saying and you are all making good points. It's time we all realize just where we are today. Being a parent of a teenager and a four year old, while working a full time job changes my lens just a smidge. Now while I 100% agree with regulating social media exposure to your children, there are two points I think of often. I grew up with an analog childhood and a digital adulthood. I still have values and tendencies towards face to face interaction and less reliance on technology. That simply will not be my children's world experience and I feel that I would fail them if I did not prepare them for that future. Do I want my kids to be self-absorbed, vain and zombified? Of course not. But this exposure to the world they will inherit does require parental guidance. No generation ever understands the ones that follow. I spend a great deal of time trying to put myself in my children's shoes, but they never fit. At the end of a 12 hour day, am I going to put my daughter on an iPad to watch PBS kids? YEP, I'm also cooking dinner and contemplating life decisions. My kids never did come with their manuals from the manufacturer....
  16. Its true, we are fortunate. Spending catches up with all of us at some point. I splurged for a bit. But the highest card I own is a single 3070ti. Just sayin. I'm pretty sure that Bastiaans 2x3090's are worth more than every card in my inventory
  17. Great game. Better turn your GPU fan speed up.
