  1. Let me know when the Starfield equivalent of OBSE/SKSE comes out for modding.
  2. Yeah I think there is definitely a lot of that for sure. AMD really had tons of Navi 21 to still sell off. Same as Nvidia with GA104/106.
  3. I expect to see a milkshake machine in your future at some point.
  4. See this is where the "XTX" for the 7900 just didn't make sense. They could have just called it the 7900XT with the current 7900XT being called the 7900 or even 7800XT, while this 7800XT would be perfect as the 7800. But what do I know? And then clearly they are following the same playbook as the launch price of the 7900XT with the launch price of the 7700XT. Anyway, you are right though, they both play these games with naming schemes. I'll at least give AMD credit for leaving this one at a reasonable price for what it is, despite the naming.
  5. More branding shenanigans. The 6800XT was a 72 CU part (4608 stream processors) on the bigger Navi 21 chip. The 7800XT, presumably its name sake replacement is 60 CU (3840 stream processors) on the second tier Navi 32 chip. At least the price makes sense and they aren't trying to pass it off as a $600-$700 card like Nvidia would.
  6. It was coming from Ukraine? That's interesting considering.
  7. GeForce 4 is a category. We could use a submission there as @Avacado mentioned. /img/logo.png Overclocking, overclocking, and much more! Like overclocking. HWBOT.ORG HWBOT is a site dedicated to overclocking. We promote overclocking achievements and competitions for professionals as well as enthousiasts with rankings and a huge hardware database.
  8. Well I lost the bidding on the 3300X I found on eBay. Glad you found one!
  9. Some of the Nvidia cards categories need 1150 socket stuff. I'm using my 4790k for the GTX 275 and SLI 650 Ti Boost runs. 10900 (10 core right?) would work for one of the DDR4 runs I think. Just take a look at the different categories here: /img/logo.png HWBOT Team CUP 2023 @ HWBOT HWBOT.ORG Level 2 OC-ESPORTS competition running from 2023-07-15T12:00 till 2023-09-15T12:00. Oh man, I shouldn't have bid on one on eBay this morning.
  10. Yeah pissed me off because I was going to run my 5900X in it.
  11. That second one won't work for the 5900X, notice no 12 cores allowed.
  12. No, its ranked based on how many people per team actually contributed submissions. Higher ranked teams probably have more subs. I'm not sure if they then average out the times or what, but if you got one team with 2 subs and one team with 1 sub, the 2 sub team ranks better usually.
  13. That's what mine is. All this time I thought the Xp was the Pascal X, not realizing they did actually have two different gens of Titans called the "Titan X". Way to go Nvidia
  14. I got this one b-stock sale from EVGA for $199, but saw them on eBay for $150ish.
  15. Titan X block and rest of the water cooling stuff should be here by Tuesday. Itching to join in.
  16. Yep, I see that too. Video plays fine though.
  17. And look at that, a new video showing up on the banner, this is awesome @Mr. Fox!
  18. I don't know. MX-5 was extremely thick and that was the worst paste I have used for pump out. I see why Arctic EOL'd it. I've been using MX-6 for a bit, and just ordered some KPx to try it. As for the bolded, I think you are correct, hence the "kryo".
  19. Thanks for that. Given the "hydro" in the name, was wondering if it was supposed to be better for watercooling or something. I tried the old Kryonaut a few times and while I was impressed with the performance, I was less than impressed with the longevity of the paste. Usually needed to be redone annually. Anyway, sorry for my digression of the topic. The included accessories (the TIM) got me wondering.
  20. Bad nickel plating huh? No shockers there. Good read though, solid review. Looks like a good block. I always forget that Thermal Grizzly has other pastes. Feels like you only hear about the liquid metal or the Kryonaut. What's supposed to be the main difference between Hydronaut and Kryonaut Extreme?
  21. Did someone say 939? @pioneerisloud - your time to shine! In other news, I finished building the test bench last night and put in my PPCs order today. Titan X and waterblock should get here by Friday. Really close to being able to start. Taken me much longer to get this going than I anticipated, but want to do it right.
  22. Well if mid-range is where it's at, I guess they suck at capturing that market too lingering at 15%ish market share.
