  1. That's how I am viewing some of these new skus. Not great looking only within the lens of 5000-series, but are available and should be a nice drop-in upgrade for folks on older Ryzens.
  2. Absolutely! Already got an order in to PPCs. Out of the in-stock options available, opted for the Alphacool block.
  3. So update. I am trading my 3070 (full hash), waterblock, and one of my old 240 rads and some $$$ for an FE 3080 Ti.
  4. Full TPU review here: TPU 5800X3D Review Personally I think I am happy I opted to just get the 5900X under $400 as 1440p relative performance difference between the two is 6.7% in favor of the 5800X3D, and out of the 10 gaming benchmarks shown, 2 show significant improvements for the 5800X3D (Far Cry 5, Borderlands 3), meanwhile, the other 8 seem marginal.
  5. I don't feel bad opting for a cheaper 5900X.
  6. Confirmed, images are working again!
  7. OK, I took the thread titles for what it was, a joke, but does sort of invite that type of talk.
  8. Oh I wasn't talking RGB, just the grays and blacks of their cards and me saying hey wait a minute, thought their name was "Colorful"?
  9. You know...they need to live up to their name. I am not seeing a lot of color on those cards.
  10. AMD really is missing the mark with some of these. Reminds me of the 6500 XT.
  11. Huh, yeah I am seeing that now too.
  12. I must say, I always have a chuckle when I see an ITX board installed in a full case!
  13. Just an update. Got the o-ring kit in. Looks to be a 7x2mm o-ring. Maybe that helps someone in the future..
  14. This is long erased from existence (was an old alpha version of game), this was my castle from 7 Days to Die.
  15. A bit too big, unfortunately. Not by much, but just enough it didn't sit right in the groove for it. These appear to be an OD of 9 or 10mm. I am not sure on the ID. I decided to just put in an order for a metric set of o-rings and see if I can find one that works. Less than $10, so not a huge deal if it doesn't work out.
  16. No, this is actually a great idea. I didn't even think about Harbor Freight. I have the other o-ring which is the same size still there, so that would be perfect.
  17. Let's just say I was polishing up the acrylic and didn't notice when I apparently popped an o-ring off and proceeded to wash it down the drain (I already took the drain pipe apart to see if it was there and it was not). Don't suppose anyone might know what size o-ring this is around that screw area?
  18. There for sure is a visible difference between the XC3 and FTW3 PCB's. Even just with regards to hight and length of cards.
  19. Huge thank you @iamjanco, new retention ring arrived safe and sound!
  20. Sure, I get that. I am more speaking in general, not necessarily when doing OC sessions and benchmarking. If I am gaming and a theoretical 4080 is drawing 500W, I think that's a loss of one sort for sure. But I realize a lot of enthusiasts likely don't agree. And that's fine.
