    Interesting, all out of stock here except supposedly one Walmart clear on the other side of town. I looked at 2 grocery stores, 2 Walmarts, 3 pharmacies, and a Target by me. All out.

    Did you need the iGPU? I had a 5600X up for sale (new - unopened, but had it for a year) for $200 shipped in the Classifieds. Ad expired this week, but still have it.

    So I was getting the last of the parts I needed and wanted to get started on my Mayhems kit and flushing. But then my last road block to actually starting this project is....no distilled water in stock anywhere? What the heck! Curious if other folks are seeing that issue in their area and what fellow water coolers are using instead?

    Functionally where I am at with it. I want to switch, but that's held me back.

    Wow! So what's a safe max voltage to give the 4790k? Most I got out of mine stable was 4.6Ghz. Was a little disappointed. I only went as high as 1.35v though. That said, it's kept me going for the past 7+ years. I also have another computer in the house with one.

    Good info, thanks. Yeah MX-4 or NT-H1 has usually been my go-to paste, MX-4 usually more than the other. I'll give MX-5 a try.

    Puting in the order for SW3's now. Also need to grab some thermal paste while at it. Any big difference between MX-4 and MX-5 I should know about? Skipping that KP-x included with the Optimus block. I don't want to repaste stuff every 6 months. Same goes for Kryonaut. This stuff was good when first applied but just doesn't last.

    The first computer I ever built from scratch completely had an E8500 Wolfdale. So I understand.

    OK, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks. Yeah I have 3 bottles of pre-mix. I am not sure if ModMyMods even makes a concentrate for ModWater? Mayhems clear was hard to find in stock anywhere.

    What's the biggest difference between the two? To clarify, I a just looking for distilled water for flushing, my Blitz kit, general loop prep. I am using ModWater clear for the coolant.

    I hate ringing phones so mine is perpetually on vibrate or silent mode (mostly silent) and instead my Android watch vibrates on my wrist to tell me when something is going on. The only thing that can get through and actually make noise is the app for work pages if there is an outage call I need to jump on.

    Well getting ready to get in the rest of my parts needed to finish my new build. I stopped at a couple stores this week and no one has distilled water. Anyone one else seeing a lack of distilled water in their areas?

    I think I decided on the SW3's, but a little unsure on which one to get since they seem to have 4 models for each size. I am going for 120mm. So I want to control them, so will get the PWM's. But is there any other difference between the regular and the high speeds besides what their max speed is?

    Yeah, really what I wanted to go with, but like you will just wait. Figured a cheap one can tide me over for now. As for Leakshield, interesting concept, but I imagine has some kinks to work out. Looked like it could be very finicky.
