  1. Yes and no, it kind of depends on what routers (and "OS") you're running on the routers. You'll run into issues if both are left completely stock and on default settings since they'll both be attempting to be DHCP servers. Do you have any vlans or are you running a singular subnet across your entire network? Depending on the router, all you should have to do is go into the admin CP and set it as an access point. if the CP doesn't give you the option to do that, then you should just be able to disable DHCP functions on the 2nd router and it should (at least afaik, my experience outside Merlin and DD-WRT is limited) accomplish the same thing.
  2. mostly looking for ideas to add to my arsenal recently removed a bunch of extensions I never use but currently running these on Vivaldi:
  3. I just hope AMD and Intel pump the brakes on the slowly climbing power consumption numbers
  4. I keep almost being tempted to move from my 10900K to a 7800/7950X3D, but I keep convincing myself to wait for next gen. I'm hoping they put the extra cache on both CCDs next gen. also hoping the new chipset brings a better selection of motherboards with onboard 10 GbE, ideally with Intel based NICs
  5. what problem does this solve on desktop? supposedly they can go faster in theory but afaik nothing has been sold in CAM above 5600 (and some of Dell's modules top out a 3600)
  6. at least you don't melt outside from March to November, I did my cabin filter and lost 10lbs in sweat
  7. not for that, sure, but with Nintendo being Nintendo they could come at it from a difference angle. ie, you're still using their intellectual property (characters, music, storylines...) without permission and it could be (weakly) argued that it cuts into their profits by existing.
  8. 2 year later update - Debian'd (almost) all the things (new) laptop - dual boot Debian 12/LTSC 2021 Raspberry Pi - still Raspbian HTPC - dual boot Debian 12/W11 HyperV - Debian "Server" for PiHole, Plex VM no longer exists (moved to host Server 2022)
  9. neat. Now they just need to do that for PS1/PS2 games I never really got hooked on the N64. I got a hand-me-down one after my older cousins got bored with theirs, but by then I had a PS2 and I was starting to get into PCs so I rarely played it. Banjo Kazooie was dope tho
  10. what kind of issues? might be SOL on Proxmox too depending on how your IOMMU groups are setup on your board.
  11. as long as you don't interact with Avacado it's 10/10
  12. joking about stealing my bike = acceptable joking about stealing my food = unacceptable
  13. had a bunch of bikes growing up and I keep thinking about getting another one, but I know I'd ride it once a year and then feel guilty about buying one
  14. the real questionable life choice is why you didn't join the race I'd have beaten them in reverse
  15. Fi is US Cellular and T-Mobile, it'll use Verizon or AT&T towers if there's an agreement in your area. AT&T is the only provider that gets signal at my job and I get coverage but idk how to check what areas have agreements. Hotspot is fine? I rarely use it but I just tested it and with ~50% signal I'm getting 40/10 through to my laptop (still on my 3a XL so idk about 5G). They have a free trial tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Try Google Fi Wireless for Free with a 7-Day Trial FI.GOOGLE.COM Test out Google Fi's coverage to see how we keep you connected with our 7-day free trial that works right alongside your current service. Get started today.
