    1km commute? Just walk lol. Any car driven regularly for that short amount of time is going to significantly wear down. Esp. oil/petrol mix.

    IMO he should have sold the company and wiped his hands with it, allowing the company to pivot to AMD/Intel AIB partner and stay alive instead of just... dying.

    This is very interesting indeed, I wonder if they will actually sell all of it in one go. Some of it, or hold onto it. And even more interesting would be where that money eventually ends up.

    Here's to hoping, I assume its more expensive to run a site like this than most of us imagine and making it hard to find new owners.

    I am interested in the 5090, really only for VR as I still get ~30fps in some titles with my BSB. Hoping the extra VRAM/bandwidth will help out (I have definitely hit 24GB cap causing games to crash in VR). Don't think I'll wait for a non-reference card this time, the Strix 4090 I have is kinda a pointless 'upgrade' over the reference 4090.

    It's already providing 'Level 0' support as we call it. But I do hope Governments start to step in to protect some jobs/areas from this in the short-term similar to how data residency/GDPR is mandated.

    FH4 -> FH5 left such a sour taste in my mouth for the entire series. And then FM8 just utterly ruined it. Why can't Sony just allow Gran Turismo to come to PC already At least AC Evo is looking good!

    How did that happen? I had something similar happen to a yoga mat of mine when I left it in the sun... but I'm not sure if heat/steam would work in this case? I wouldn't want the rubber backing to separate from the cloth material... Maybe just get a new one? They're really damn cheap on Amazon these days

    Separate the art from the artist. While what those human beings did is deplorable, the music/art that they created is "static" so to say and your opinion/enjoyment of it shouldn't be changed by what they did or did not do.

    I don't find the 4090 as performant as I'd like for VR, so I will definitely go for the 5090 but I dont expect it to be flawless in VR either.

    Your 7900X3D boosted booth CCDs the same at first? Interesting... my 7950X3D has never boosted the first CCD above 5250mhz (X3D CCD). This is a 7 day hwinfo average: name | current | min | max | avg

    I wouldn't worry about 150mhz personally. Have you run everything stock, JEDEC spec RAM, etc. and validated single core boost performance uplift? Likely the +200mhz is not stable enough to sustain boost under load despite passing tests. Modern CPU overclocking is closer to GPU Boost than traditional overclocking... there are many flags to why it won't boost, and we can't control all of them. Would also do a fresh WinOS install on a new/spare SSD to validate. (Not over existing install on existing SSD). Ideally if you can avoid Windows...
