  1. Personally I still find that browsing the forum on mobile is a little clunky, but browsing most things on mobile is pretty clunky. I have no idea how to improve that sort of stuff, and I'm rarely on the site on mobile anyways, so I don't think I should complain. That being said, I'll second what Avacado mentioned. I think more than anything, more activity from more users would be great. That's what I miss more than anything from OCN, funnily enough. But, you've already talked about that some and I'm glad you see you've got some plans in place. Always good to have threads and discussions like these. Best of luck with your side of things, E.
  2. Cheers E, happy holidays to everyone.
  3. Taking a look at the season as a whole, yes Max is more deserving of the WDC, but that may be easy to forget if you only look at Lewis' pace and performance since Brazil or so. Just very weird to think about since the points didn't quite play out that way. And if I'm not mistaken, a change was already made, stating that team principals will no longer be allowed to speak directly to the race director to influence decisions like we saw on Sunday, so that's a step in the right direction. Oh, and as far as still getting enjoyment out of watching - I can understand losing interest due to this or that, but man, I'm still just fascinated by the engineering and tech that goes into them, so I'm still quite entertained by just watching the cars lapping out there, regardless of what else is going on. I totally understand that that's not the case for everyone though. Nice thing about sport is there are always multiple reasons to watch, enjoy, and be a fan.
  4. Nice! Always good when little fixes like that work out smoothly.
  5. And I honestly disagree lol, with how unpredictable the FIA/race director/stewards are about this sort of stuff, and how inconsistently long it can take to clear a car, I think I would have done the same. Staying out like they did also would have given them the upper hand if the race was red-flagged, which I think they would have done if they couldn't have cleared Latifi's car in time (as opposed to ending the race under SC).
  6. What a disaster of a race though, in regards to how the result was achieved. And I think we can all at least agree on this:
  7. I see points on the board, glad you got things working again.
  8. Somehow managed to miss this post. Would this still be doable for you to run the 7850 in AMD @damric, and what's your status @u3b3rg33k?
  9. Very cool! Do you have a thread set up for that build or something? Apologies if I've missed it.
  10. banned because this is the 1000th reply to this thread super banned because this thread has way more posts than the ompt
  11. Of course McMaster has some, why didn't I think of that lol
  12. I'm actually getting close to needing some myself, though I am in the US. I've assumed I'll be able to find something suitable on Amazon, but if anyone has any better recommendations I'm open to some.
  13. Think you have some tags a little mixed up, fortunately I haven't blown anything up just yet. Thanks though! Congrats yourself! 100M PPD is... mind-boggling, frankly. Absolutely ridiculous, in the best way possible.
  14. Hit 3B points for EHW a few days ago before I lost internet at my apartment for both 2080 Tis for around 24 hours, and we're on track to be the #100 team by the end of the week. Good stuff guys!
  15. Always good to have more folks folding for the team. I'll start poking around more for additional potential participants, but if that doesn't work out, I should be able to reliably enter a second GPU to temporarily fold in place of a third team member, if we're still okay with that.
  16. Indeed, massive milestone. Hah! To think I once thought I'd catch up... And congrats to you @firedfly for the 3 billion milestone (and passing me)! Lots of big numbers all around.
  17. Nice! What games are you planning on playing with the set?
  18. Seconding this. MK7 Golf lights, or at least the facelift ones, are absurdly bright.
  19. Interesting, only benefits I see over something like a pair of 3080 Tis is lower power, cooling, and space requirements. But at that price difference, it's probably worth the drawbacks of two larger cards in most cases.
  20. Ah yeah, if I had a higher data cap/unlimited data I'd definitely do something similar in those situations. Good news is we're back up and running. Based on the text updates I received, it took the 14 hours to start assessing the situation, and less than 30 minutes to fix it. Could be worse but looks a bit silly.
  21. Unfortunately it seems like I'll be missing a large chunk of points by the end of the day. Internet at my apartment went out a little over 12 hours ago, and I have no idea when it'll be back, so no new WUs for either 2080 Ti.
