  1. Since I've last posted, I've acquired a Creality CR-10S Pro V2 printer. Snagged it on Prime Day for $500, while it usually costs $680. The one I got was used and broken, as the extruder motor seemed like it had died, so I returned it and got one that's actually new. First interesting thing I've printed with it is a balcony box that's quite popular on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3688892). Not the most useful thing in the world, but it's neat. Print quality wasn't perfect, as seen on the top surface, but otherwise it looked good. Still dialing some things in and trying out different settings. Planning some larger projects (hardware has been ordered), as well as some aerodynamics-related stuff for the FSAE team. The Ender 3's silicone sock around the heat block tore and doesn't stay on anymore, after a clogging incident. Causes some excess filament buildup and creates some annoyances when printing, so that's out of commission until new parts arrive.
  2. OP updated. Should have done that ages ago.
  3. Wild past few weeks in motorsports. Had some really crazy races in Indycar, F1, Nascar, and Formula E. Anyone thinking about going to Petit Le Mans? Few FSAE guys and I are starting that conversation, since we usually go.
  4. Very curious, I'm always interested in some dual GPU action, haha.
  5. Ooo, quite a few of my cards fall under this umbrella. Will have to document and submit before too long.
  6. Just picking the 28 most productive days of each month seems practical and reasonable and I'm not opposed to that at all, but I also like the idea of just starting on the 3rd or 4th of each month or something and give everyone the same downtime opportunity. Makes things feel more... definitive? As opposed to having the start and finish at the same time. I dunno, it sounds better in my head but when I put it into words it's not quite the same.
  7. That's two weeks to you, haha! Thanks guys!
  8. Lmao I enjoyed those trailers. "Not enough memes? Fine." Definitely has potential, and I'm even more interested since Bad Company content is included. As I've probably said before, it's very rare that I look forward to a game that hasn't come out yet because I've become so cynical towards new AAA titles and preorder deals - but I think this is one of those times.
  9. Crossed 9 billion points as a team, good stuff guys!
  10. Aha, perfect. That'll do, and it's nice and easy. Thanks!
  11. I'll admit, I made a deposit for the 512 GB version. My thought process is I won't use it super frequently for gaming, but I don't think it'd be really stupid to use as a sort of multi-purpose mini-PC, especially since a dock will be available, and hopefully won't be super expensive. (Wouldn't be necessary, and I'm sure someone will come up with a fancy 3D printed alternative.) The screen resolution is a little disappointing, but I don't really see any other major red flags. In my opinion, it's made up for by the microSD card slot; games can be run off of it without any additional trouble, and it really opens up possibilities. QFT. Lol never change BWG
  12. IN! Switched over from the OCN Foldathon. On for the final stretch to 2 billion for EHW in a few days as well.
  13. On the official F@H stats site, is it now only possible to generate and receive WU certificates, and no points certificates? I noticed before the rework, the points certificate button would also generate a WU certificate, but I assumed it was a bug. Now there's only one "Award" button, and it's for WUs, so that's my assumption. Really doesn't matter at the end of the day, but it's something I was curious about and I liked my points awards because I'm a weirdo like that.
  14. How is the bottom radiator attached now that there's no frame at the bottom of the case?
  15. A few weeks ago I actually bumped into someone else with a lowered Alltrack while traveling on some back roads, and we pulled over in one of the towns we ran through to chat and get a few pictures. First lowered Alltrack other than our own that either of us had ever seen in person. Really cool occurrence.
  16. Gotcha, thanks guys! Agreed, but sometimes it must be done haha.
  17. Forms filled, thank you for the reminder @BWG and thank you to everyone for getting this organized!
  18. Sorry for the drastically late reply lmao. Are you referring to the weighting system? Honestly, I haven't been looking closely or often enough to give an opinion that carries a lot of weight, but nothing has appeared to me as outrageously imbalanced.
  19. I can also see applications for this with users that prefer Macbooks for whatever reason, but need to use some programs that are only available on Windows. For businesses, that may not be as common as for individual users, but like the article mentions it's not all that dissimilar to Citrix, which I've seen used like that quite a bit recently.
  20. Glad to see we have another competitor regardless. Semi-related, @ENTERPRISE, why do you use Amp links? Is there an easy way to view the regular page without having to hack up the url? Doesn't display very nicely on my desktop.
  21. I'm usually not crazy about embedded content if I'm honest, but I'll definitely second Google Sheets embeds. They're great for forum membership lists.
