  1. Hah, brilliant. I'm now picturing WWE-level over the top intros for all of our ETF cards.
  2. have i met the what and the who now
  3. Indeed, seconding what Avacado said. Best of luck out there. In other news, I'm planning on switching my folding rig to W10 and changing my 980/960 combo to my pair of 1070 Tis, with my ETH card to change accordingly. Already PM'd @BWG. EDIT: Also went ahead and updated the OP with @damric's upcoming hardware changes since we're already in that sort of limbo, it seems. Will update again once I have my stuff swapped around.
  4. I've had both printers running for the last couple weeks now, and I'm cranking out parts left and right. Mostly uninteresting QoL things for the printers themselves, but after a few iterations I printed some airfoil molds for the FSAE team. We're exploring using expanding foam in molds we make rather than machining much more expensive blocks of low density foam for airfoil cores. Here's the result of the very first run, obviously quite rough but pretty good for not having done anything like this before.
  5. I'm home for the weekend! Meaning I can finally get some of the extra info about my older cards (bought a couple of them used and I don't have exact part numbers saved digitally). Expect a post within the next couple days. Or never, knowing me. Place your bets!
  6. Since I've last posted, I've acquired a Creality CR-10S Pro V2 printer. Snagged it on Prime Day for $500, while it usually costs $680. The one I got was used and broken, as the extruder motor seemed like it had died, so I returned it and got one that's actually new. First interesting thing I've printed with it is a balcony box that's quite popular on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3688892). Not the most useful thing in the world, but it's neat. Print quality wasn't perfect, as seen on the top surface, but otherwise it looked good. Still dialing some things in and trying out different settings. Planning some larger projects (hardware has been ordered), as well as some aerodynamics-related stuff for the FSAE team. The Ender 3's silicone sock around the heat block tore and doesn't stay on anymore, after a clogging incident. Causes some excess filament buildup and creates some annoyances when printing, so that's out of commission until new parts arrive.
  7. OP updated. Should have done that ages ago.
  8. Wild past few weeks in motorsports. Had some really crazy races in Indycar, F1, Nascar, and Formula E. Anyone thinking about going to Petit Le Mans? Few FSAE guys and I are starting that conversation, since we usually go.
  9. Very curious, I'm always interested in some dual GPU action, haha.
  10. Ooo, quite a few of my cards fall under this umbrella. Will have to document and submit before too long.
  11. Just picking the 28 most productive days of each month seems practical and reasonable and I'm not opposed to that at all, but I also like the idea of just starting on the 3rd or 4th of each month or something and give everyone the same downtime opportunity. Makes things feel more... definitive? As opposed to having the start and finish at the same time. I dunno, it sounds better in my head but when I put it into words it's not quite the same.
  12. That's two weeks to you, haha! Thanks guys!
  13. Lmao I enjoyed those trailers. "Not enough memes? Fine." Definitely has potential, and I'm even more interested since Bad Company content is included. As I've probably said before, it's very rare that I look forward to a game that hasn't come out yet because I've become so cynical towards new AAA titles and preorder deals - but I think this is one of those times.
  14. Crossed 9 billion points as a team, good stuff guys!
  15. Aha, perfect. That'll do, and it's nice and easy. Thanks!
  16. I'll admit, I made a deposit for the 512 GB version. My thought process is I won't use it super frequently for gaming, but I don't think it'd be really stupid to use as a sort of multi-purpose mini-PC, especially since a dock will be available, and hopefully won't be super expensive. (Wouldn't be necessary, and I'm sure someone will come up with a fancy 3D printed alternative.) The screen resolution is a little disappointing, but I don't really see any other major red flags. In my opinion, it's made up for by the microSD card slot; games can be run off of it without any additional trouble, and it really opens up possibilities. QFT. Lol never change BWG
  17. IN! Switched over from the OCN Foldathon. On for the final stretch to 2 billion for EHW in a few days as well.
  18. On the official F@H stats site, is it now only possible to generate and receive WU certificates, and no points certificates? I noticed before the rework, the points certificate button would also generate a WU certificate, but I assumed it was a bug. Now there's only one "Award" button, and it's for WUs, so that's my assumption. Really doesn't matter at the end of the day, but it's something I was curious about and I liked my points awards because I'm a weirdo like that.
