  1. Yeah, that was my main thought as well. Then I'd just want some custom sleeved cables, but it'd probably look fantastic.
  2. Interesting, hopefully this is successful enough that they branch out and do more cases (ideally some smaller ones) with this system. Would be really cool as a space-saving thing.
  3. This is neat, I'm glad somebody did this since I saw it on sale a month or two ago and I was tempted and very intrigued, but I had no good use for it. Any thoughts on the unique cabling system itself?
  4. Nice, thanks for putting the prize up for grabs and congrats to @firedfly for snagging it.
  5. And further: https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-dlss-source-code-leaks-as-a-result-of-cyberattack-on-companys-servers
  6. Further development: https://videocardz.com/newz/hacking-group-threatens-to-leak-nvidia-gpu-driver-and-firmware-data-already-selling-ga102-104-lhr-algorithm-bypass Notably: "...which means that the group has allegedly found the algorithm that was responsible for the crypto mining hash rate limiter implemented into the RTX 30 series last year."
  7. I certainly wouldn't complain about that if it doesn't create additional issues for you.
  8. Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I really should check on the stats site more often. I'll bug him on Discord tomorrow morning; I don't think he checks on the forums too often.
  9. lmao I haven't been able to keep up with the forums for a few days and I missed it, but was folding as usual. Whoops!
  10. Some friends got me FH5 for Christmas and I have yet to try it. I know the game itself is pretty solid, but do any of you guys know if the multiplayer is stable yet? Last I heard, there were a lot of connection issues when trying to play with specific friends, but that was a while ago.
  11. Doesn't look too bad for a printer with no tuning past bed leveling. I had honestly completely forgotten about this thread. I should collect some pictures of my recent prints, had a couple good ones recently.
  12. Personally I prefer the look of pastel coolant, but if you're not going that route, I think silver fittings and matte black blocks that would match the case would look really nice. A full nickel blocks might be a bit much but that depends on GPU mounting and how visible everything ends up being. Looks awesome so far!
  13. HAH! I just thought to check r/datahoarder about this and found what must be your comment. I'm glad communities like that exist to archive sites that shut down.
  14. Oh, gotcha. I originally misinterpreted what you meant, but that makes sense.
  15. Yeah I'm trying to justify it to myself in the sense that it's a mini PC as well. If all you could do with it was game, it absolutely wouldn't be worth it for me either.

  17. As someone who's never messed with this sort of stuff myself, what extra benefits would you get out of a dedicated mounting system? Very cool though, thanks for sharing.
  18. Glad to get more info on it. The more I see news and new details, the more excited I get for it! Glad I made a deposit some months back.
  19. As someone who does composites work somewhat regularly, I absolutely love that carbon fiber frame. I'd be thrilled to be able to purchase it separately, but whether or not I'd actually cough up the money for one is an entirely different question. Really like this concept overall for what it is.
  20. I've used CableMod in the past and had all positive experienced, and started looking at their stuff first this time around as well. I found that SoloSleeving has a much wider variety of options, and for cable extensions rather than full kits, is a good bit cheaper. Additionally, CableMod just started what is evidently their annual warehouse overhaul or something, so orders placed roughly throughout the month of Febuary will be delayed by at least a month or so. I don't have a deadline for getting cables in, so CableMod might end up being what I fall back on if I don't hear anything from SoloSleeving by 4-6 weeks from now.
  21. Just wondering if anyone has had an experience with SoloSleeving's custom cables and their wait time to place an order. Yeah, you have to pop in your email to get added to a wait list before you can even order anything, and there's no ETA. Just wondering what the ballpark is. Weeks? Months? Over a year? I have no idea what to expect and didn't find much when Googling around. Figured I'd take a shot here.
  22. Personally, I'm not too concerned with that much downtime for this month. I'm already having a pretty mediocre month since my actual folding rig isn't up, so that PC will be getting some downtime as I use it for other stuff occasionally. But, if it's convenient to swap for that intermediate period, I certainly wouldn't stop you.
  23. Won the Shuffle yesterday. Should I have actually made the purchase? Probably not. Did I? Well here I am, posting in this thread.
  24. Got a wee bit of snow when I took the Alltrack up to Kentucky last week.
  25. Another tweak I thought of today, and this may be better suited for another thread: reformatting the rig listings under posts to show more than 8 parts in less space. Just could be a little more space efficient, but that's a pretty nitpicky thing.
