Yeah its a little tedious for sure. Im going to look to see if there is a safe way to automate these things in the coming days, I know that it can be done but may have to speak to my admin about it as likely will involve a MySQL query as I don't think re-build tools are native to this platform BUT that is what I will be looking into.

Hello all, So it seems that it is possible to retrieve broken images within some threads/posts. It seems that in some cases that while the inserted image may be broken, the actual uploaded attachment is all well and fine. If you have a missing image, try these steps. 1. Enter Edit mode on your post/topic. 2. When in Edit mode, do nothing other than click "Save". 3. Go back into edit mode. You may now find that the attachments originally belonging to the post/topic may re-appear in the attachment area. This will allow you to simply re-insert the images. This may not work in all instances but myself and others have found this method works, so why not give it a shot All the best, E

Yeah exactly that. I will put a shout out to the members to try this "trick" for some of the images. Just have to remember to do it.

I have had confirmation from our dev that the issue with Social Badges should now be resolved.

Our database from what we know was un-affected and we should still have 100% of the threads and posts. Unfortunately for the broken images there is not much we can do at this point. Though oddly, I have found that if you go to Edit a thread that is showing lost images, and submit the edit and then go back and edit, the attachments can re-appear in the attachments area and you can re-insert them.

Yes, so that is the bug I am referring to in the sense that they appear irrespective of the field being filled out, which oddly was not an issue in testing lol. These icons by default will also return you to the site IF the URL entered does not work or is incorrect...or if a URL was not used., so the return behaviour in that respect is normal.
