  2. I have 64Gb of RAM but I have not yet really had a chance to OC it due to the poor IF I am getting on my setup but the newer AGESA should hopefully help with that in Feb. Sticks are rated at 3600Mhz at XMP (Though B-Die so easy to OC) but my Mobo refuses to easily run them 3600Mhz. I also have a set of TeamGroup Xtreem ARGB 64Gb 4000Mhz coming for review and testing, will see how that goes.

    5800x temps?

Yeah is absorbing a little more heat so higher than usual temps do not worry me too much, plus it is not like it gets anywhere near its max rating.
  4. Hey Guys, So I have been looking at these on and off, not actually pulled the trigger just yet. However I wanted some options for a 10Gb switch. I know you can get full 10Gb switches but these tend to cost an arm and a leg, so I reckon the best option is to get a 10Gb enabled switch which could come with at least 2+ ports. Obviously the more 10Gb ports the better but do not want to spend my ass off. As for a budget realistically anything up to £300-400 I guess. However cheaper, would be nicer. Let me know chums. E

    5800x temps?

I will have to experiment and see what I can get, however I am waiting until the new AGESA coming out in Feb. 1x 420mm Rad 1x 240mm Rad 200 mm Heatkiller Res 1x D5 Pump 1x D5 Next Pump Mayhems X1 Clear Pre-mixed coolant All the RAD's have high performance 3000RPM Noctua Fans on all of them. Everything else remains cool under the monoblock (chipset & VRM's) the CPU honestly just temp spikes depending on load variables. CPU block is actually a part of an overall motherboard monoblock (Asrock Aqua)
  6. No unfortunately not , there was large delay in the development of it, however re-development has begun again and hope to have it rolled out soon. I have a load of site updates being implemented hopefully this weekend, the Dark Theme I am hoping will be one of the next rollouts.
  7. No way I'm waiting for any other Nvidia GPU, 3090 or bust for me.
  8. Haha. Yeah these will be in the review. I have not got the card in hand yet. Should be arriving soon. Then I need to get a pair of NVMe drives for RAID 0 Testing.
  9. Looks to be fairly debunked haha: https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/news/possibly-worst-rtx-3080-ti-leak-ever
  10. It is an ugly mess all round to be honest from all that I have read and after speaking with people who play it. I even heard that the console patches are like 10x the size of the PC patches for some reason, not sure of the validity of that.
  11. That is the problem, finding those who have the ability to do it not just from a technical standpoint but from a platform standpoint, furthermore I would imagine you would end up collating all the data anyway as opposed to having members produce their own "reviews" if you will, that would be hard to get random people to follow a set format. Will keep my fingers crossed that it goes well.
  12. Yeah from the start they said it would be a a 3090 with basically 4GB less VRAM....Which seems dumb to me personally, keeping it so close to the 3090, but it is Nvidia...there is no logic. Will be interesting if it does come to pass.
  13. FYI, I ended up buying the HighPoint M.2 NVMe RAID Controller via PCI-Express 4.0 x16, not so much for playing with RAID (not that it is needed to do RAID) but because it also allows me to swap out NVMe drives more easily than compared to when they are on my motherboard. Will also be reviewing this add in card so keep your eyes peeled for that

    5800x temps?

Mine is on PBO but with the voltage curve offset applied which helps. Looking forward to playing with CTR in Feb to see what I can do with that.

    5800x temps?

I missed that, you did say Aida. Yeah under synthetic load my CPU will near 80c on spikes so I reckon you are all good. Your sanity has been officially checked.

    5800x temps?

Well I find my 5950x does temp spike to approx 70c depending on the application. I have not seen up to 80c, however it is under WC. I believe this is a characteristic of the 5000 series personally as I have seen it mentioned elsewhere. I have even repasted the CPU and put the WC block back to have the same result, so I can only put it down to the CPU. I would say your fine, maybe consider a beefier CPU cooler to handle the spikes ?
  18. Yeah will be Interesting for sure. Looking forward to seeing the results of your member share on that other site
  19. Not sure if you are looking to OC in the future but the X570 Creator by Asrock is a solid mobo.
  20. @Cerberus have sent you my details Also I notice that @Sgt_Swanny won a Gold Membership, however they are already a subscriber, possible re-draw ? @axipher
  21. Phew overclocking 8 modules may be difficult, well you can do it but mileage may be short. If you are shelling out the money for the TR Pro platform, I think you would put money aside for the octo RAM lol.
  22. Aside from the octo channel of RAM, I am really liking all the PCIe lanes.
