  1. Hello all, We have recently been working with Cooler Master on some product review, some of which are upcoming and one that we recently released, namely the Cooler Master Caliber X1 Gaming Chair. In the spirit of the recent review Cooler Master have shared their design a chair campaign, you can actually design your own chair with a chance of winning it ! You can find out about more HERE. How cool is that right ? All you designers and artistic people better jump on this quick. So it gets better, for all those who submit a design, we will be doing a random giveaway. We will be giving away 5x of Cooler Master CH510 Cup Holders. This would be a great match for ANY office chair, but especially if you won the designing competition. Want a chance to win a Cup Holder ? Here is what you have to do: 1. Visit: https://community.coolermaster.com/make-your-caliber/ 2. Submit your design and details via the form at the bottom of the page. 3. Post a screenshot of your submission confirmation in this thread. Winners will be announced on October 12th It is that simple. So have at it guys! All the best, E
  2. Nice. I agree with you on that, I am not upgrading any of my rig until the new DDR standard has hit the consumer market. Right now there is not need for me to be on the bleeding edge, so I can wait it out. Those speeds however are juicy, considering an architecture like Zen gets a healthy boost from RAM speeds, I can imagine the future Zen CPU's that release alongside DDR5 will eat this up.
  3. Once again once the console is apart, it doesn't exactly look special but neither did any of the predecessors. Amazing what they pack onto one board these days. Nice to see they have gone for what looks like a decent cooling solution (time will tell) so bravo for that.
  4. Due to the issues we had with the prior platform, we are having to cut our losses on this one as recovering the files could server as really tricky or at the very least very time consuming, especially since we have changed image storage and delivery methods a few times. It is a bugger but do not really have the resources to commit on this one right now and with the fact that the images lost were few, it is a balance between dev time and worth, right now the dev time for the current and future projects is of higher importance.
  5. Welcome to EHW bud, good to have you here. The sentiment here is very much community and the user experience. Glad to have everyone along for the journey
  6. Mouth waters ! Waiting impatiently for an update ?
  7. This is a fair suggestion considering there upcoming release. I will add this in the coming day or so
  8. Unsure what this could be other than a missing image from the server. When we migrated it did cause some upset with a few of the prior images. A re-upload of the image by the user will fix this
  9. Hey Bud Thanks for this. Yes I knew this was in an issue as of yesterday. We believe it was due to a plugin that was minifying JS that has caused that issue. Plugin since disabled, just waiting on devs to go in and fix Thanks, E
  10. Well for now it looks like in reality the mobile site is the only route right now. As I say Tapatalk is not supported and it looks like the Communities By Invision app is not yet available on iOS typically
  11. We try to fit in with the majority of user needs but obviously that will never be 100& successful, that being said we are working on lots of upcoming changes. Having been in the community/forum game for a while, it has afforded me the experience I need to create a new community (hence EHW). Of course we appreciate any help given by users which can be from simply posting news/new content etc...this is what makes a community among other things such as general fellowship and shared interests. Financially any donations or premium account purchases does go ALONG way. With this site being ad-free, there is no other income to the site other than my own funds which goes to the hosting, software and custom development. Every little helps as they say The dark mode is in the works and will come with the overall UI update to this site. We could have put in an ad-hoc version but ultimately would not have improved the user experience as it will have had bugs etc. The one we are developing is being developed as a custom fit, take a little longer, but much more worth it. Our Rig Creator (which we had on the first iteration of EHW) will of course also be returning which enables rig creation and allows users to show them off in the signature area as standard. We are also working on the Embed Wizard which will allow users to embed a wide variety of content into the forums without the need for cumbersome BBCODE or other tag elements. Will just be a simple copy and past link and GO. Lots more on the horizon as well.
  12. I think you will love it if you were into Quantum Break, loved that game !
  13. Doggo's seem way to popular on this forum so far. Banned for lack of cats !
  14. Tapatalk is not natively supported by this platform and likely wont be, not without some custom development. The reason I know it will not get native support is Invision have released there own Taptalk like app called "Communities By Invision" which you can get on Playstore , the App store variant I am not sure is available just yet. Right now the app is in pre-release so its stability is not fantastic, but should improve in the future. Right now that is the only alternative I can offer you. If there is a larger call for Tapatalk then we can certainly look at some form of custom integration in the future. While I appreciate some do not like using the mobile site, with that at least you are guaranteed not to have ads or be unnecessarily tracked, with applications by third parties I can not make such assurances.
  15. I also find it odd it seems to be relegated to NVMe only ? With the fact that your standard SSD (assuming DRAM Cache) and NVMe are all but virtually the same aside from the obvious link speed, I find it funny MS has not included SSD's. Your standard SSD is not exactly going out of fashion.
  16. I have not really looked into this anymore as the 75% fluidity setting seems to function nicely in the majority of scenarios, and this is coming from me who has an ultrawide. I will likely leave 75% as the default but with a view to making fluidity widths a per user preference in the future Though of course this does depend on the feasibility, so this will be added to the to do list to investigate whether it is realistic to implement. Thanks for the feedback as always.
  17. Once we have finished designing and implementing other systems, we will be getting fancy badges
