[DIGITAL FOUNDRY] Nintendo Switch "Overclocking"
ENTERPRISE replied to ENTERPRISE's topic in Hardware News
That would be interesting, I would say it is possible with the software tools but not sure what hardware alterations you would need to make (if any). While of course you can OC the Tegra X1, does Nvidia actually gimp it ? Not looked into to be honest. -
Hey Spotswood, Welcome to EHW! Good idea regarding a scratch case builder forum. I will add that to my list of upcoming additions (Next day or so). As for reps and vendors, they are more than welcome here on EHW. Due to the infancy of the site, I am yet to create the badges signifying reps on the forums, but again I will be doing this in the next day or so. We will also be supporting rep advertising should a rep wish to do more than only support their consumers. A thread regarding this topic will be created soon instructing perspective advertisers how to proceed in getting setup I look forward in seeing you on the forums. All the best, E

Extreme overclocking toys from Bitspower!
ENTERPRISE replied to mllrkllr88's topic in Exotic Coolers
@mllrkllr88 -
Not overclocking as such but technically still taking the Tegra X1 past the limits imposed on it for the Switch. Interesting nonetheless.

While I love the new Win10 builds...I would love it more if they did not make the start menu so sensitive to system changes. I have had a few systems suffer from the dead startbar which usually results in restoring the apps packages via powershell or a re-install..boo. Windows 10 19H2 builds 18362.10012 and 18362.10013 now available on the Slow ring | Windows Central

[TECHRADAR] AMD Navi 23 could be an ‘Nvidia killer’
ENTERPRISE replied to ENTERPRISE's topic in Hardware News

It would certainly be about time. The lack of competition at the high end in the GPU arena has had Nvidia punishing the consumer for too long. Granted we still shell out the cash, but AMD forcing prices down would be a win. AMD Navi 23 could be an ‘Nvidia killer’ graphics card that launches in 2020 | TechRadar

Hey James, Welcome to EHW, we are glad to have you. You will fit in well here. I myself have been into PC's around about the same time as yourself, not a huge modder though as time is lacking and I have to admit I am not the most patient person when it comes to that. I tend to go with function over form haha. Feel free to ask any question or hit me up via PM if you need anything. All the best, E

While we endeavour to make EHW as accessible as possible we will only support the following browsers. Firefox Chrome Edge Other Chromium based browsers should also work just fine, assuming the developers of said browsers have not changes core components of the chromium base. If you are using another browser type and are experiencing difficulties or odd behaviour, we would recommend switching one of the above for browsing EHW. We would be unable to commit resources to fixing issues on all other browser types as it is not feasible to do so. Kind Regards, EHW Staff.

Hello all, I have always thought it important to show others appreciation for their help or for helpful information they have provided that is of use to you. In the fast paced world we live in, life can sometime be fairly thankless, but it does not take two seconds to show someone appreciation on ExtremeHW. On every user post on the bottom right there will be a ''Thanks'' & "Respect" button. Which looks like the below. Anytime someone has been helpful, please give one of these small buttons a little click. That is all it takes to show someone your appreciation ! Spread the word and lets be sure to be a thankful community. Kind Regards, EHW Staff.

For the purpose of clarity the only analytical software we use is Google & Bing in order to allow us to monitor site performance as well as make sure the site is appropriate for our users and run the bare minimum ads to support the running costs of the site. The only other trackers we have on the site are Facebook & Twitter which allows users to share their or others content to social media. Want to make sure we are telling the truth ? Well we do not blame you! We encourage you to install Ghostery into your browser. Ghostery is a third party browser plugin that will detail what trackers a site is running and can allow you to block them. However please note that blocking site elements can have an adverse effect on how the site runs for you and could negatively effect your experience. Our policy is to respect the privacy of our users to the maximum of our ability and keeping the site lightweight and responsive.
