After the way they went after MS for IE and Windows Media Player they BETTER hit Google for doing the same thing.

This seems to be the problem in all forms of media anymore,whether written,radio,or video.Everyone is presenting information but with their own "take" or bias on it or they want to spin it for their own view point. Gone are the days of Walter Cronkite presenting the news and simply saying "And That's The Way It Is". People started wanting to be entertained instead of informed and the news institutions jumped right on the train because it made them more money since cable tv was a new thing and if you were popular people subscribed to your channel.(back in the day before 200 channel basic cable) The internet was even worse because the commercials and "likes" paid for their views.

The HDD vs MVME drive issue is just whacked.All I can figure is the game doesn't recognize your drive so is assigning it as a generic HDD. As for the aspect ratio,I didn't realize it was in a different one when the wife started playing,she just figured it was fubared and went into the console settings and set it to fit screen and it did.

lol, THAT explains it! After reading your post I went and started my old 7" tablet and it's running FF while the new 8" is on chrome only. They're BOTH amazon tabs with the Playstore ecosystem side loaded for better compat. I've been running the 8" since 11/2023 so I kinda forgot the change in browsers. I think I changed to chrome on the tablet because it felt less sluggish.(I need to start keeping notes,getting so I don't remember WHY I do things half the time.)

I use to have the extension on my tablet,but now it doesn't let me put it on.(show's how often I use this for serious stuff.) Sorry for the mis info.

I will beg to differ here a bit because if most people ask me the address of the diner down the road and I say "Just Google it" they know I mean look it up online.If I were to say "Just Duck,Duck,Go it" the majority would be "*?" So in a way saying "Google it" has become synonymous for a large part of my generation(gen x) to saying look it up on line. It has nothing to do with being lazy and trusting,it's what was always available and in our faces. AOL search,Yahoo search,MSN,they all changed but Google just seemed to get bigger,better,and always there.can you blame people for becoming conditioned to it being there?(BTW,Yahoo & AOL search are now powered by Bing.)Corp greed will win in the end.

It's in the room of the highrise where the lines for the floors come off the main trunk line running up the building. There are 11 floors and 3 signal amps in 3 of the 10 rooms that over heat.(basicly electrical closets and janitor storage rooms) We're not allowed to even go in there,let alone make changes to the building. I've recommended an air intake at bottom of door with exhaust fan in top of wall on side of room just to move the hottest air out but nothing gets done by management.

I like his vids also,he's refreshingly open & honest. If he makes a mistake and has to fix it he shows it instead of editing the video to make himself look better.

About halfway through this vid he shows voltages in a bios utility pulling over 1.6v on the core with Intel's Fail Safe turned on and asus multicore enhancement disabled.

And my first thought when reading this thread was "VS must be drumming up business to look good for the quarterlies reports."

I had fun and it let me see what things were going for price wise compared to last gen and also compared to when I built my last system in 2019

lol,I was gonna go with a lower end cpu,but the 7800x3d was only $5 cheaper.

#1 Fluxmaven System should handle any & all 1440 games and most 4k thrown at it for several years which is what you want from a rig you're sinking money into.Upgrading the PSU later will support a later GPU which should give longer gaming life until the whole system gets replaced. #2 Damric Solid sweet looking system that will work for the girls with the lighting on or everybody with it just turned off. Should handle all 1440 gaming needs until it's time to build a new system and can easily & inexpensively be upgraded if needed until it's time to go with a new build. #3 Sir Beregond ANOTHER sweet AMD build but he had the nerve to go all air cooling (I chickened out on my sub)and that plus a 100 watt less psu let him get an extra GB of nvme storage.Again,all 1440 gaming and most 4k will be covered for quite a while. Just an FYI, I went with the higher end cpu and mid tier gpu figuring that upgrades could be done a few years later if an entire new build couldn't be afforded. That's why it has the 850 watt psu.
